The opening paragraph is factually incorrect: there were communists elected to the UK parliament, as well.--Edward 06:10, Oct 27, 2004 (UTC)

Thanks for picking up the error. Fixed. Speaking of which, if you're involved with the CPA, I don't suppose you might know where I'd find a picture of the man? Ambi 21:08, 27 Oct 2004 (UTC)
If you email mainman@agitprop.org.au I'm sure he could supply one or steer you in the right direction to get one.--Edward 08:52, Oct 28, 2004 (UTC)
Will do. Thanks. Ambi 09:22, 28 Oct 2004 (UTC)

I'll be purchasing Ross Fitzgerald's biography of Paterson on December 28, so I may expand this entry shortly after that date. User Calibanu 11.40, 23 December 2006 Paterson was senior counsel for the plaintiff in the Australian Communist Party case

I've added a photo from a 1948 newspaper. Not great but I hope it's better than nothing. Feel free to replace it with a better photo. Kerry (talk) 00:43, 14 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
