Irrelevant information in "Death and Burial"

edit

Hi, I believe there is some content in the "Death and Burial" section that shouldn't be here -- it's totally irrelevant to the subject's life, and concerns an undocumented and relatively minor descendant who supposedly lived three centuries later. Here's the content:

Gilbert and Joan had a descendant named Ursula Hildyard of Yorkshire, who in 1596 married (Sir) Richard Jackson of Killingwoldgraves, near Beverley in the East Riding.[citation needed] Jackson died in 1610 and was interred at Bishop Burton. In 1613, James posthumously awarded a coat of arms and a knighthood to Richard for meretorious military service in the Lowlands of Scotland.

I'd like to remove it, but I'm new to editing in Wikipedia so I'm opening a talk section about it instead. Would be interested in hearing from others. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 97.101.212.126 (talk) 15:54, 2 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Odd lacuna and impossibility in text

edit

I note that the section The Welsh war in 1282 mentioning the 1282 Battle of Llandeilo Fawr is immediately followed by one beginning "In the next year, 1291, . . ."

The section Marriage and succession refers to a dispute, implicitly in 1290, with Thomas de Cantilupe, who had died in 1282 (the assertion is repeated in Thomas's article.) I suspect there has been a misreading of a source. {The poster foremrly known as 87.81.230.195} 90.197.27.112 (talk) 08:55, 17 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
