Most certainly worse than DOC or not?
editThis article makes an IGT look like a good product, yet DOC states that altogether too many products have at some point gotten DOC certificates, and hence may not be all too wonderful. Is the quality of a DOC most certainly better than an IGT from the same region and grapes, generally so, not necessarily, or not at all as this is not a clear grades system???
Merge with DOC/DOCG article and rename?
editHi, I've reworked the Denominazione di origine controllata article to be clearer, and updated it to better discuss the 2008-11 EU wine labelling reforms (PDO/PGI). I've included the gist of this article in it, and updated the references. I think it would be useful to make this a redirect to the IGT section, and perhaps rename the article to "Italian wine classifications" or similar. Thoughts? Jon (talk) 12:16, 24 September 2019 (UTC)
