Did James Holland handle the ball at the end of the 2008 A-League Grand Final?
editAll the media references I have seen either state that he did or that a penalty should have been given, or refer to ref mark Shield "appearing" to miss the handball or Holland "appearing" to touch the ball with his arm, eg:
The game is over. Get on with it. Newcastle controlled the game for most of the time. The incident by Holland seemed unintentional and was not seen by the ref. ergo Newcastle earns a deserved win. Learn to live with it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gettaz (talk • contribs) 19:14, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

- “He, Petrovski and other Mariners had raced to Shield and heatedly complained to him after their demands for a penalty for handball were turned down. Replays showed Central Coast should have been awarded the spot kick, which if converted would have sent the grand final into extra time.”
