Many thanks for your help though the first reference relates to someone else who bears exactly the same name. Do you suggest, if I properly understand, to add a "sources" section at the bottom pf the page mentionning these and/or possibly other links. Many thanks in advance. - For a professor to have a Wikipedia article, he or she needs to satisfy certain notability rquirements which you can read about at WP:PROF, such as "The person's research has made significant impact in their scholarly discipline, broadly construed, as demonstrated by independent reliable sources". Rehevkor helped you look for such independent sources. However, it wouldn't be sufficient simply to list these at the bottom; they have to be incorporated into the article as so-called "inline citations" to support particular assertions about the subject. See WP:CITE for information on how to do this. I read French and will try to spend some time tomorrow helping you find and incorporate a reference or two. - Thank you for the clarification, Jonathanwallace. Rehevkor ✉ 17:48, 11 March 2011 (UTC)
Thank you to both of you. I tried to take into account your remarks the best I could. I added references, sources and modified a few details. As co-founder and editor-in-chief of the Nordic Historical Review I presume that I can pretend to some minimal notability. I hope that the years before me will allow me to refer to one or more criterias someday. Please be kind to tell me if there is something else to be changed in order to improve the page. Many thanks in advance. Vanechka79 (talk) 21:02, 11 March 2011 (UTC) 11 March, 2011 22:02 (CET)
- If you are professor Berdah, please be aware that editing your own bio here is really disfavored; see WP:AUTOBIO, which explains why. It is the better practice to propose changes on the talk page and let others implement them. Jonathanwallace (talk) 00:21, 12 March 2011 (UTC)
Many thanks for the comments and reference. I'm aware of it. That's why I wrote my page in the most neutral possible tone, avoiding all kinds of superlatives or judgments. If you know anybody who would accept to check it thoroughly and modify it eventually, I would be glad to loose my touch. Best regards.
