Restoring the page to [1] pending outcome of the discussion on whether this page should be kept, emptied and redirected, or merged and redirected. It shouldn't have been emptied until there's clear consensus to do so, even if that indeed going to exist. 219.76.24.202 (talk) 13:35, 19 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

For the record the newer edits in these two versions ought to be incorporated: [2][3]. 219.76.18.74 (talk) 14:12, 19 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

A Kung Ngam Lighthouse

edit

MSGJ's recent edit made the location of this lighthouse switched from A Kung Ngam to Lei Yue Mun. While this lighthouse guards the Lei Yue Mun as the body of water (mun means strait) it's actually located on land in A Kung Ngam. How may this be reflected in the table? 220.246.55.231 (talk) 16:10, 31 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Is it the coordinate location that's wrong? Before it was 22°17′04.1″N 114°14′04.4″E and now it's showing 22°17'4.099"N, 114°14'4.402"E. I can't tell if they are the same or not! — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 16:26, 31 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Don't think the two coordinates are essentially different. The difference was only 0.001 seconds by latitude and 0.002 by longitude. 220.246.55.231 (talk) 16:31, 31 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
I see, it's the actual text that changed. The table was using located in or next to body of water (P206) but I just changed it to use location (P276) which I think matches the previous behaviour. Thanks for pointing this out. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 16:29, 31 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Thanks Martin. 220.246.55.231 (talk) 16:32, 31 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Tung Lung Chau North Beacon

edit

Is this one on the list? — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 20:44, 31 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Seems no. As opposed to the 1921 one mentioned on the list, at Lam Tong Mei (aka. Nam Tong Mei or Tathong Point) on the southern end of the island and guards the Tathong Channel,[4] this one guards the Fat Tong Mun on the northern end of the same island. It's mentioned in many hiking and travelling guides and blogs, e.g. [5] [6], so it's very likely a real one. Should be added imo. The Lei Yue Mun one on the northern side of the strait (i.e. on the opposite side of the strait, as opposed to the Ah Kung Ngam one 220.246.55.231 talked about above) used to be missing from the list too. 43.224.235.7 (talk) 05:10, 2 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
