Cloveious,

This is an impressive piece of work. As requested, I have done a copyedit, but I want to emphasize what an amazing resource this is. Here are some of the changes I have made and why:

  • Headings and sub-headings: the Wikipedia:Manual of Style says that words in headings and sub-headings should not be capitalized except for, of course, the first word and proper names (people, pleaces, etc.)
    • I have also applied this to headings and data labels in tables.
  • I have made some of the language more formal, e.g., replaced "stint" by "term".
  • I have wikilinked the first instance of party names.
  • I have spelled out the first instance of initialisms -- not all readers will known what an MLA is, so you can help them out by spelling it out thusly: "Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA)" the first time.
  • I removed "votes" from "Total votes" in the tables because it did not seem necessary.
  • Where specific elections are referenced in the text, I have linked to them for the convenience of the reader.

The historical boundaries map is a bit problematic foor me. I like the idea of charting the change in the rding over time, but without geographical markers, it really is just a change in the shape, and doesn't give much of an idea of what has been added or dropped from the riding. I expect that you did this in order to make the picture a reasonable size, but I am afraid that we are left with something that does not have a lot of meaning. Others may disagree with me on this.

Again: great job, and keep up the good work!Ground Zero

Thanks, for the copy edit! I will play around with the maps some more and see if I can map things a little more detailed. Unfortunetly the only map references I have avalible are not very detailed, The maps were traced from the original boundary maps in the Alberta Legislature archives. --Cloveious 21:54, 23 August 2005 (UTC)Reply
