Contributions to Solr
editThe current article text claims that Lucidworks employs one third of Apache Solr's committers and contributes 70% of the code. It's great that Lucidworks is a major supporter of the open source Solr project, and they should definitely get some recognition and credit here. However, those very concrete claims need sourcing. Or perhaps the claims should be slightly toned down to something that can be sourced somehow.
Besides that, some explanation would be helpful. Is this referring just to the API wrapper around the Apache Lucene search engine, which is what Solr has become nowadays? If so, that's still great, but it's not nearly as impressive, and should be made clear. And if it's also referring to contributions to the underlying Lucene search engine, I have a hard time believing those percentages, given the massive contributions that the Elasticsearch project has been making to Lucene during the past few years.StormWillLaugh (talk) 08:31, 13 January 2021 (UTC)
