Consider this picture here showing Erdogan and al-Harati (Redacted). I have also uploaded to (Redacted) in case the original disappeared. Now unless this picture was forgery, it documents al-Harati kissing Erdogan. In that event we could safely conclude that Erdogan has some kind of "good relation" to this man, who by all accounts is using weapons to fight people (in other countries we could call him a "sword for hire", or even a terrorist). My question here is this - is there a way to establish any relationship between Erdogan and al-Harati? Any credible newspaper reporting something more useful? The picture is unfortunately not useable for wikipedia, but I am sure there may be better pictures without "water mark". And perhaps someone else can write more - I do not speak turkish language nor syrian language so I have absolutely no idea what these characters mean. 213.240.100.201 (talk) 16:26, 12 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
Seems to be a propaganda pic making claims about the living people concerned, and also presumably a copyright violation, so I've redacted both links. Your comments about Erdogan are pushing the fringes of what is acceptable under WP:BLP. If reliable sources discuss this, then that would be the sort of sources to use. We don't do original research based on people in the Levant happening to greet each other in something resembling the French fashion. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 17:11, 12 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Mahdi al-Harati. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
