edit- I'm slightly against the merge of Medium Earth orbit and geosynchronous orbit, since the MEO is not geosync. Bubba73 (talk), 01:04, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
- actually, the suggestion was to merge this with geocentric orbit, not geosynchronous orbit. I've not heard of the former, but I can see why it might work. I think it would make more sense to make MEO a subcategory of geocentric, rather than merge them. - Taka2007 03:11, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
Please clarify distances
editEach of these orbits is associated with a distance in km and mi, which is great, but it doesn't specify wheather that's the radius of the orbit, the distance above the Earth's surface, or the circumference of the orbit. Please clarify on all related orbits pages. Thanks, Yoda of Borg (talk) 14:42, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
Consistency
editDescription of orbit should be tweaked to be consistent with that in list of orbits.--Virgil H. Soule (talk) 22:49, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

Comparison with Geo-xxxxxxxx orbits
editI modified the incorrect references to geostationary orbit and replaced them with the correct term geosynchronous orbit. To understand the difference, and why they are sometimes confused, please refer to Geosynchronous orbit#Geostationary orbit. Artemgy (talk) 19:45, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
