  • Unsurprisingly, the article still sounds like a press release (despite a bit of clean up I've done), as it was cobbled together by re-arranging paragraphs in her official biography. I have removed the most blatant copypaste above (re her band Victoire). I have also removed uninformative phrases like "sold out" in relation to The Kitchen performances. This is a small 155 seat theatre, not Carnegie Hall. The cherry-picked quotes are still a problem and stand out a mile away as a piece of PR work. They do not present a balanced or encyclopedic view of her work. Note also this is supposed to be a biography, but contains virtually nothing about her actual life, just blurbs for her work. A notable-enough composer but the article needs a complete rewrite. Voceditenore (talk) 08:41, 2 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
There are a number of fairly informative interviews with Mazzoli and biographies including this one which provide additional details. I have not yet been successful in finding anything about her childhood and her early interest in music.--Ipigott (talk) 14:23, 20 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
