Myra
editMyros, built on the sediment region of the Demre stream, is one of the cities which had a right to three votes in the ancient Myra Kingdom. The area is now covered with green houses.
One of its most important ruins is the mausoleum in the style of the lonian temple. It is known as the native town of St. Nicholas and the church is visited by many people.
The fish and sea food caught in the bay and served in local resturants is also famous. www.informationturkey.net —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.162.155.68 (talk) 15:16, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
