Reliable sources and obscure events
editToo much of this article is sourced to the bio on his sponsor's page, which I would not classify as a reliable source. I am also bothered by the citations of wins in obscure events, participation in organizations so minor they don't have articles about them, etc. --Orange Mike | Talk 00:41, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
- It's a tragedy that someone of his stature didn't have an article until now. Assuming that a red link means that something is obscure is dangerous. Off-road racing has the same issues as drag racing - there are no Wikipedians are interested in the topic. So no one has done the work to develop the infrastructure of off-road racing. I can't help that. The only race with an article is the Baja 1000. It would be same if NASCAR only had an article on the Daytona 500. These are not obscure events in the off-road racing world - they are the big events and series of the sport. I can only do so much alone - I have a wide variety of interests besides off-road racing. I try to hit the most important topics. We use sponsor biographies for creating other racing articles! Royalbroil 01:26, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
