editExplain to me how the following "anti-Fascist" links serve a purpose for Roberto Fioere's article? This is propaganda for Anti-Fascism on an article which IS about a Fascist. Sorry I'm deleting these links until someone can explain their relevance other than promoting a POV sentiment. Piecraft 01:20, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
- I agree these links are biased and that their existence can be confusing and POV-promoting. However they contain (biased but) detailed information on the figure of Fiore. Even if these links were just libels, they have informative value for the very fact there is that opinion on Fiore. I welcome every neutral, pro-Fiore and even pro-Fascist link about him to be added: you're welcome to find them and post them. In the mean time I re-added the links to the article, better stating they are biased. --Cyclopia 16:37, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
Question: How can this man be an MEP if he is a convicted criminal? Either he s not a convicted criminal or not an MEP. 94.197.1.91 (talk) 17:37, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

Roberto Fiore: Censure on it.wikipedia
editYou have to know that the italian wikipedia has locked the page about nazifascist leader Roberto Fiore, due to problmes given to :it: from his lawyer. Write it there, it is a scandal ! A wanted person for Bologna massacre can threat wikipedia imposinge censures by his lawyer ? The censored chinese wikipedia has got a page about Hu Jintao, on the democratic country of Italy it happends these "strange" things. --87.6.195.77 (talk) 15:21, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
- This is very worrying. Forza Nuova is well known for its aggressive use of lawsuits. Could you link to the relevant discussion on it.wiki? (By the way, it's important to make it clear that Fiore has not been condemned directly for the Bologna massacre, but for subversive association regarding his leadership of Terza Posizione - it was a "fallout" of the inquiry on the Bologna massacre, but any direct involvement has been explicitly disproved -see Storia nera by Andrea Colombo or Fascisteria by Ugo Maria Tassinari on the subject) --Cyclopia (talk) 18:24, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
- Hi all, I registered the legal closure of the Italian Lemma. Tstststs. I have written the german version and I am still having it on my watchlist. Any info about the backgrounds is warmly welcome.
- My understanding of italian is basic (and based on Cesars Bello Gallico) but I would as well appreciate if you can provide web links / original quotes, and refer to the it wiki discussion if existing. --Polentario (talk) 22:29, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
The Polizia Postale, blocked the page http://www.wikipedia.it/wiki/Roberto_Fiore (wrong, isn't the real page, but a redirect to it.wikipedia.org) and after the admin of it.wiki blocked the real page http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roberto_Fiore --151.20.239.166 (talk) 18:11, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
What the heck - it is still censored there. Worrying. Zezen (talk) 22:59, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
Still blocked as if 2019:

removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV
editI've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:
- This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
- There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
- It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
- In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.
- This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 14:04, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
Fiore is a (neo)fascist.
editBasically every RS considers Fiore neofascist: Just some examples:
- "Euro seat for Italian neo-fascist Fiore" (The Telegraph)
- "Neo-fascist clear to resume charity role" (The Guardian) Quote from the article: "He said he was quite happy to be described as a fascist." (so we have a self-identification)
- Two 'Catholic' charities linked to Nazis, says report (The Guardian): relevant quote: "Roberto Fiore, a fascist politician and businessman, is a trustee of SGET."
Plus at least two books, already cited in the article:
- Tamir Bar-On (12 April 2013). Rethinking the French New Right: Alternatives to Modernity. Routledge. pp. 13–. ISBN 978-1-135-96633-1. Retrieved 26 August 2013.
- Stephen E. Atkins (2009). Holocaust Denial as an International Movement. ABC-CLIO. pp. 125–. ISBN 978-0-313-34538-8. Retrieved 26 August 2013.
which are not sources by "critics and opponents", but academic and reference books. Note also that I limited myself to English language sources.
To call Fiore merely "nationalist" is not only a serious breach of NPOV, but it is also a mischaracterization of his political platform. Fiore self-identified at least once as a fascist, so there is little BLP concern, and the sourcing is overwhelming.--cyclopiaspeak! 08:20, 26 August 2013 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, the wikipedia italian page of Roberto Fiore has been blocked for possible legal disputes, because there's an active process about a commentator who say that Fiore was a fascist; but I have to thanks Wikipedia administrators for not deciding of block this page, everyone must know the truth about this politician. --213.209.217.226 (talk) 10:54, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
It would be worrying indeed if that should be blocked for citing third-party sources. Zezen (talk) 23:00, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
