Requested move 11 December 2024

Untitled I Know What You Did Last Summer sequelI Know What You Did Last Summer (2025 film) – I could probably do a WP:BOLD move, but it was semi-borderline, so consensus may be best. After the most recent source added by Nyxaros, though, I'm more sure this is appropriate. Anyway, I included "Untitled" when the draft was first written because it could easily be interpreted that the sources at the time were referring to the franchise title instead of the title of this specific entry. As more sources came out, it has continuously been referred to as I Know What You Did Last Summer, and the recent production photos used in the most recent sourcing use this exact title (director chair[1] & clapperboard[2]). And the latest addition from THR specifically states that Sara Michelle Gellar inadvertently revealed the title when she posted a photo before the production did.[3] I think at this point the title has been confirmed, or at least the working title that should be used until the producers decide a change is better. -2pou (talk) 21:39, 11 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

  • Support Yes, pretty sure the title has been confirmed. The film is considered a requel like Scream (2022), which is why it bears the same name as the original. ภץאคгöร 13:16, 12 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose for now: I'd say hold off on changing the article's name until the title for the film has been officially announced by the studio or by an overwhelming amount of reliable sources. Mjks28 (talk) 13:28, 12 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose for now, seeing no reliable sources call this film that directly and explicitly. It's always "the I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot" and phrases like that. The photo of the director's chair may make it "obvious" (or who knows, maybe they found the original cloth from the first film), but Wikipedia isn't in a rush to nail down the title. As long as the article is findable, we can wait until a poster and/or trailer comes out. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 13:34, 12 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose – for now. There's no rush and we can wait for an official confirmation. —Joeyconnick (talk) 01:23, 13 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose the movie is yet untitled as of now.

  • Comment Thanks for everyone's input so far. Probably unlikely to move at the moment, and as stated, there's WP:NORUSH. I did want to post that I made a mistake in the year, which I have updated now to 2025 just so it is correct. -2pou (talk) 21:11, 13 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
