No to merger.
editI believe the BLS track and the park itself should be kept separate. What should suffice is a better description of the track on the sheet. This has been done for both Calgary and Lake Placid. Chris (talk) 02:46, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
Park City category?
editShould this article be included in Category:Buildings and structures in Park City, Utah if the park is not actually within the city limits? ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:37, 2 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Another Believer: It is in the CDP of Snyderville, Utah, but does have a mailing address of Park City (as well as anything else in Silver Summit and Summit Park). It would be fine to place in Category:Buildings and structures in Summit County, Utah like Swaner EcoCenter (which is across the road from this facility) or Kimball Stage Stop (across the freeway from the EcoCenter). If you do though, maybe also recategorize Utah Olympic Park Track (same place) and McPolin Farmstead (also in Snyderville). Yosemiter (talk) 22:56, 2 May 2021 (UTC)
- Yosemiter, Since you're familiar with the geography, would you be willing to make these changes? I support your suggestions here. ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:58, 2 May 2021 (UTC)
- Yosemiter, Ditto Utah Olympic Park Jumps (?) ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:59, 2 May 2021 (UTC)
- @Another Believer: I don't really have an opinion here, either category is actually fine. The 3 CDPs I listed often consider themselves part of PC, but the government of the area is a bit mixed between the City and County. Residents all have PC addresses, can vote on city elections and have public city transit; utilities and many other public services (such as county sheriffs instead of PC Police) are county-dependent.
