editIs there any significant fighting to warrant setting up a battlebox? I am curious to the number of initial rebels. Elle vécut heureuse à jamais (Be eudaimonic!) 17:58, 20 July 2006 (UTC)

Better info
editI edited the article to make it sound more encyclopedic and adhere to the rules of the English language, but I must call into the question much of the information given, especially on the background causes of the uprising. Why is the Han Chinese's antagonism towards the ruling Manchu dynasty and foreigners not mentioned? Or the corruption and decadence of Qing China? I also find it quite suspicious that the magazine Science and Football is cited; it does not seem to be a very good authority on Chinese history. I'll try to find some better sources, but until then, this article reeks of inaccuracy. --ZhangYuu (talk) 02:51, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
