Before joining the Wikimedia Foundation I worked for five years with Mercy Corps, spending two years in South America analyzing the cost effectiveness and social impact of improved land formalization systems. I studied Economics and Econometrics at Reed College and through my career and volunteering have discovered an enduring passion for participatory processes and evaluation. In my free time I cook elaborate desserts and ride my bicycle, sometimes for very long distances. Over the summer of 2014 I rode my bike from Florida to Montreal.
My work
I joined the Wikimedia Foundation in November 2014 and am working with the Program Evaluation and Design team to support the community in measuring the success of their program activities. I gather and analyze program data for the evaluation reports to increase impact and shared learning.
