George Wright Hall (10 November 1895 - 5 November 1974) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
editHis father was Arthur Wright Hall (c. 1865 - 16 February 1937), a master motor engineer, born in Bahia, Brazil. He ran his own company with his son.[3]
His mother was Jessie Elder (born c. 1866) from Edinburgh. Arthur and Jessie married on 10 March 1892 in Edinburgh.
George Alfred Wright Hall was born on 10 November 1895 at 19 Henderson Terrace, Edinburgh.
He married Sarah McDonald Adams (born c. 1899), a landscape artist, in Newington, Edinburgh on 19 July 1928 at 16 Millersfield Place.[4]
They had a daughter Valerie in 1937.[5]

Death
editHe died on 5 November 1974 at Edinburgh's Royal Infirmary.[7]
