James Henderson (4 January 1908 - 22 December 2007) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
editHis father was James M. Henderson (1872 - 1926).
His mother was Mary Craig Stewart (1873 - 1953). James and Mary married on 19 June 1903 in Earlston.
James Henderson was born on 4 January 1908 in North Berwick.[3]
He married the artist Nan Fergusson on 15 July 1937 in Dumfries.[4]
Art
editHe became an art teacher at Galashiels Academy.[5]
He moved on to George Watson's Ladies College in Edinburgh.[6]
Death
editHe died on 22 December 2007 at Kelso Hospital.[7]
