Alexander MacBride (8 March 1859 - 1955) was a Scottish painter.[1][2]
Life
editHis father was James MacBride (born 3 March 1821), a Procurator Fiscal from Glasgow.
His mother was Jessie Raeburn (born 24 May 1824) from Kilmaurs in Ayrshire. James and Janet married in 1857 in Glasgow.
Alexander MacBride was born on 8 March 1859 in Cathcart, Glasgow.
He married Janet Stewart Houston (born c. 1859) in 1894.
