My main interest is history- I am interested mostly in Medieval and Ancient History. I find Welsh history very interesting; for such a small nation Wales does indeed have a deep and interesting history. The problem is however, that most Welsh people don't know much at all about the local history of Wales. Historic Brythonic-Welsh leaders such as King Arthur, Owain Glyndwr and Llywelyn the Last are well known amongst Welsh people but few people know of their exploits or the battles they fought. Also most Welsh people have never heard of very important, key battles and events in Welsh history such as the Battle of Mynydd Carn and the Battle of Crug Mawr. Luckily, Wikipedia has plenty of information on Welsh history, and I am ready to help expand Wikipedia's Welsh history sections in order to help inform more people about the history of Wales and Britain.
If you're keen to learn about Welsh history, start by reading John Davies's history of Wales. An excellent book!
