Hi everyone! Please post below if a help is needed! The Archive page you can find here!

I like writing on nice clean talkpages :) Today reminded me of an old USSR cartoon about a duck who learned how to count and was counting everybody. one of the lines was " I tebya poshchitali" (They counted you as well). What I'm trying to say is that remember the policies to make sure that you don't get counted as well :) --VartanM 18:34, 7 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Sometimes the situation is really like that so the cartoon you marked is also my favorite one:) Sure Ill try to keep policies! And hope Ill be successful:) Thank you! Andranikpasha 20:32, 7 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

1977 Moscow bombings

edit

There is no answer for your request at Wikipedia:Neutral point of view/Noticeboard#NPOV dispute at 1977 Moscow bombings. I think we should go forward and request mediation. --Quantum666 (talk) 14:58, 19 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Mediation

edit

I requested mediation. Please indicate whether you agree or don't agree here Wikipedia:Requests for mediation/Dadivank Monastery. --Quantum666 (talk) 17:58, 22 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Wait a minute! You asked for a 3rd opinion, and you received the answer (Talk:Dadivank_Monastery). What's wrong then? Andranikpasha (talk) 18:02, 22 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
You know it well - the user's knowledge about AAconflict is not enough to provide the 3rd opinion for this case. Do you agree to start the mediation process which will involve more experienced mediators? --Quantum666 (talk) 18:05, 22 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
Are you serious? It was YOU, not me, who asked for third opinion. If you don't like the result I could have at last some etiquette to agree with the opinion you asked. Good bye. Andranikpasha (talk) 18:11, 22 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
So you don't agree on the mediation? If you think you are right there is nothing to be afraid of. What's wrong? --Quantum666 (talk) 18:14, 22 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
Be a responsible person! bye. let's close this. Andranikpasha (talk) 18:20, 22 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

To enforce an arbitration decision, you have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 year for see discussion at AE. This is a discretionary sanction under Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Armenia-Azerbaijan 2 for prolonged misconduct.. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, please read the guide to appealing arbitration enforcement blocks and follow the instructions there to appeal your block. Courcelles 19:42, 28 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Notice to administrators: In a 2010 decision, the Committee held that "Administrators are prohibited from reversing or overturning (explicitly or in substance) any action taken by another administrator pursuant to the terms of an active arbitration remedy, and explicitly noted as being taken to enforce said remedy, except: (a) with the written authorization of the Committee, or (b) following a clear, substantial, and active consensus of uninvolved editors at a community discussion noticeboard (such as WP:AN or WP:ANI). If consensus in such discussions is hard to judge or unclear, the parties should submit a request for clarification on the proper page. Any administrator that overturns an enforcement action outside of these circumstances shall be subject to appropriate sanctions, up to and including desysopping, at the discretion of the Committee."

Persuant to your using an IP address to avoid this sanction, I am hereby, under the authority of Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Armenia-Azerbaijan 2 placing a permanent ban on you over the entire area of Armenia and Azerbaijan. Speedy deletion nomination of Zahrad

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Zahrad requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. E4024 (talk) 21:04, 19 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

File:Sisakian.jpg missing description details

edit
Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as:

is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors make better use of the image, and it will be more informative to readers.

If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

File permission problem with File:Sisakian.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Sisakian.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 11:48, 8 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Armenian Mighty Handful

edit

The article Armenian Mighty Handful has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article seems to be entirely WP:OR. There is no discoverable reference to an 'Armenian Mighty Handful' in any of the cited surces. Nor is there any such reference in major musical dictionaries such as Grove. All google references seem to derive from this article. although the article claims in its first line that 'The Armenian Mighty Handful (Russian: Армянская Могучая кучка, Armyanskaya moguchaya kuchka), refers to a circle of Soviet Armenian classical music composers' I cannot find a single instnce of any recognised musical authority using this term for this group.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 01:08, 20 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
