Jun Matsumoto page

Please return the Jun Matsumoto page to its original(Revision as of 13:20, 19 August 2021) form. These are all references from June Matsumoto's IMDb.(Jun Matsumoto - IMDb) But,Suzu2309 continues to delete this content.

I've directed this IP, who also messaged me, to use the article's talk page. I've also advised that IMDB is not a reliable source nor does it cover all aspects of a person. -- ferret (talk) 23:29, 20 August 2021 (UTC)

Trouted

Whack!

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.

You have been trouted for: You trouted me for no reason! The bots automatically signed the posts. Why should I waste my time doing something the bots will do? Starship SN20 (talk) 16:42, 31 August 2021 (UTC)

@Starship SN20: .... because you're supposed to remember to sign on talk pages? Bots won't always do it automatically y'know. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) (Stupidity by me) 18:31, 31 August 2021 (UTC)

Yes, but on this particular page, bots do do that. @Blaze The Wolf:

@Starship SN20:The above is why you should always remember to sign, even if the bots do it automatically. I don't have a bot on my talk page that automatically adds signatures. I"m using a preference that I think is called mwDiscussion or something that automatically adds the signature, however I still user 4~ because sometimes I can't use the reply button because someone forgot to sign. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) (Stupidity by me) 18:39, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
Okay. I also use the reply tool, so I anyway do not get why it did not autosign it.
@Blaze The Wolf: Starship SN20 (talk) 18:48, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
@Starship SN20: That's weird. Don't know why it didn't. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) (Stupidity by me) 18:50, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
Who knows. It is a beta feature, after all. It is implied that it might not work.
@Blaze The Wolf: Starship SN20 (talk) 18:52, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
@Starship SN20: Ya true. Also, please don't move my subpage I have for my userpage. I stated in my move summary that I have it plural for a reason. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) (Stupidity by me) 18:53, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
Okay. I do get that that will probably happen, but in the meantime, it makes no sense to have a plural at this moment. (NOTE:I did not undo your page move)
One more thing, would you be interested in joining a WikiProject SpaceX?
@Blaze The Wolf: Starship SN20 (talk) 18:57, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
@Starship SN20: As an IP? What do you mean? You're not an IP anymore ,you're an actual user. I'm not interested in joining though as I have no interest in SpaceX. I only have interest in the other company the owner started which is Tesla. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) (Stupidity by me) 18:59, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
I also asked Bkissin back when I was an IP, and I copied the message. Forgot to change it for a bit to show I am a real user.
@Blaze The Wolf: Starship SN20 (talk) 19:43, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
@Starship SN20: Ah ok. Like I said, I'm really only interested in Elon Musk's other company, Tesla. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) (Stupidity by me) 19:44, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
Okay. Me too. Just do not think that one really needs it's own WikiProject. Starship SN20 (talk) 21:34, 31 August 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for responding! "What is the Best AI model for Content Moderation on Wikipedia?"

Dear @Blaze The Wolf: Thanks so much for your participation in our discussion post "What is the Best AI model for Content Moderation on Wikipedia?" in Village Pump! Your insights are really appreciated! I wonder if you would have time to engage a bit more with us and other interested editors on this topic? We plan to host an online zoom discussion session soon to invite editors to discuss further with us and with each other -- of course you can turn your camera off if you want :) If you're interested, please get in touch and I will send you (and others) a WhenToMeet link to schedule the session! Thanks so much again for your time! Bobo.03 (talk) 01:58, 1 September 2021 (UTC)

@Bobo.03: Hey! I'd prefer not to do a zoom call if at all possible. I'm rather busy with school in real life so I wouldn't have the time to do a Zoom call. A discord VC would be the most convenient way for me. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) (Stupidity by me) 02:04, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
@Blaze The Wolf:Thanks so much for your reply! Sure, we will try our best to accommodate all the editors' preference. We are still looking for more editors to join our discussion and will keep you posted! If you happen to know anyone who is interested, please help us spread the words! Thank you!

I accidentally deleted the conversation on my talk page, but just wanted to say I appreciated your feedback on my editing etiquette. When you edit an article description in the android app it doesn't give you the option to say why or what you changed. I found a way around it I'll use from now on though (to edit the introduction instead). Rapidborp (talk) 15:55, 2 September 2021 (UTC)

@Rapidborp: IT's fine. I would recommend using the desktop version from your mobile browser. Also, short descriptions are meant to be short. Making them more detailed defeats the point of them. I suggest you check out the Teahouse for any questions you might have about editing. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) (Stupidity by me) 15:57, 2 September 2021 (UTC)

Hi Blaze

Hi Blaze, I’m reaching out for help in getting this page straightened out. There have been constant attacks by one or two conflicted persons with whom I am in litigation with in real life. These people put the “lawsuit” section there in the first place. Their purpose is only to use it to promote their own real life cause, not because their content is really important to my bio. None of what they post on my page (yes, not “my” page but the page about me) is ever neutral or complete, but without fail is biased, misrepresentation, cherry picked or out and out false. I’ve read many of the WP rules applicable to biography of a living person and controversial matters that might be defamatory are extremely disfavored as are edits by COI persons involved with the subject in real life controversy (controversy made and perpetuated by these COIs). Please have a look at the creation and history of edits. Who are the two persons who come to WP only to edit my page and focus mostly on the “lawsuits” section or try by innuendo to undermine the basic story of my round the world flight. I’m happy actually that the page is protected but it’s been reverted to a version that has the heavy hand of these COI and sockpuppet persons. I’m very transparent, disclosing who I am and not hiding behind a pseudonym. I was in the middle of an extensive edit then found I was blocked when I tried to publish it. I’m happy to have guidance from a neutral and experienced WP editor like yourself and if you look over my talk page I have refrained from editing myself and asked for help on many occasions, with only limited success. I’m also not so particularly sensitive to writing on the subject of litigation I’m involved in. Actually, civil lawsuits are fairly boring but I won’t tolerate these few people repeatedly vandalizing my page with half-truths and distortions, that make it seem like My around the world record is being challenged. I think you may get it and help with a viable solution that serves the interests of WPs audience. Thank you, Julie Wang AthenaMT (talk) 23:21, 2 September 2021 (UTC)

@AthenaMT: Hello Julie! You saying, "I was in the middle of an extensive edit then found I was blocked when I tried to publish it" makes me think that you are evading your block. If it was a block as an IP then I think it should be fine as long as you don't use this account for malicious purposes. I will bring this up with other editors to get some help as I don't actually know much about you so I can't tell if it's true or not. 01:04, 3 September 2021 (UTC) Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) (Stupidity by me) 01:04, 3 September 2021 (UTC)
@AthenaMT: Ah it appears you were the IP that was edit warring. That was a bad idea. I stated in one of my edit summaries to start a discussion on the talk page. Wikipedia has a essay (I think that's what it is) on a cycle to prevent edit warring, Bold, revert, discuss. You make a bold edit, it gets reverted, and then instead of simply reverting again, you start a discussion on the talk page. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) (Stupidity by me) 01:08, 3 September 2021 (UTC)

A goat for you!

I appreciate your candor and friendly demeanor with new editors in the Tea House. Also happy to see more teenagers and furries active in the Wiki space. Thank you for being awesome!

Shushugah (he/him • talk) 17:48, 8 September 2021 (UTC)

@Shushugah: Thanks Shushugah! If you take a look at my talk page archives, I was originally having issues giving good advice to new users on the teahouse. HOwever as you can see I've mostly solved those issues. Although might I ask what candor means? I've never heard that word before. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) (Stupidity by me) 17:50, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
That's great to see, that with feedback you have adapted your behaviour and become a model communicator! Candor means friendly and direct basically, see wiktionary: wikt:candor#English. While we are here, I would give some feedback about your signature that the "and Wikipedian Editor" suffix is tad long. Whether you change it or not is up to you, since it's not a policy violation of course. ~ Shushugah (he/him • talk) 17:59, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
@Shushugah: Ya I've been thinking about changing it to something else although I haven't figured out what to change it to quite yet. However once I do I will change it. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) (Stupidity by me) 18:01, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
@Shushugah: I just read the definition of candor and I honestly agree that it fits me and it's description is something I always try my best to be. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) (Stupidity by me) 18:05, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
The signature Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry already works and matches more closely your username User:Blaze The Wolf Shushugah (he/him • talk) 18:07, 8 September 2021 (UTC)
@Shushugah: Ya I agree. Although I think I might add another pipe and add my Discord username (so that way people don't have to go to my userpage if they want to quickly find out how to contact me on Discord). The "and Wikipedia Editor" part is mainly just a leftover from when I was coming off of Fandom and still relatively new to Wikipedia. Harassment

Hi Blaze The Wolf, for my edification, could you explain how my interaction at the Teahouse constituted harassment, as you noted here. I literally have no idea why I stirred so much hostility in this user, whom I only interacted with recently as I thanked them for their edit I found in recent edits... I am having a hard time understanding how my comment "grow up" is perceived as a personal attack, yet you mentioned nothing about the names I was called, "kid," "mentally impaired," and not to even mention their tone; presuming that I'm some giggling teenager who is here to misuse WP. I'm only here to improve WP. I am cool, but to see some things written about me, as an editor, is very disheartening and discouraging... --PerpetuityGrat (talk) 20:24, 16 September 2021 (UTC)

@PerpetuityGrat: That was a fault on my part. I saw the situation was escalating quickly and due to poor judgement, I warned you for harassment because I assumed that you weren't usually very kind to other editors because of some things I saw on your talk page. I decided afterwards that in order to prevent myself from making poor decisions again with that situation I would remove myself from the situation. I was so focused on trying to get rid of the poorly received joke on your userpage that I forgot about the other user's wording. I hope that you can forgive me for jumping to conclusions a bit too quickly. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry | Discord: Blaze Wolf#0001 (talk) 20:34, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
@PerpetuityGrat: If you want to have humor involving Rickroll on your userpage then I would love to try and help you come up with something better than disguising an "Articles I've Created" list as a joke. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry | Discord: Blaze Wolf#0001 (talk) 20:36, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
@Blaze The Wolf: thanks for explaining, that makes a lot of sense. And I'm sorry that I reverted your edit on my userpage. Previously Bbb23 did the same, and I asked for a policy/guideline, but they never showed me anything, so it just appeared to be an admin expressing their authority or something like that. I knee-jerk reverted your edit, and now I am familiar with WP:HUMOR. I pretty much abhor the lists on WP of "articles I've created/greatly contributed to" because WP (in theory) isn't about your edit resume, it's just about making WP better and informing the public. The list I had on my userpage was a joke, and wholly meant to be satirical. Sorry for disrupting the Teahouse, and sorry for taking your time. --PerpetuityGrat (talk) 20:40, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
@PerpetuityGrat: Hey you're fine dude! You are right that Wikipedia isn't about your edit resume really. However people still do like showing off their accomplishments on their userpage (Seriously, making an Article that doesn't get deleted is hard). I actually appreciate that you explained your reasoning for the joke. Sometimes satire isn't received all that well. Like I said, if you'd like, I'd be happy to assist you in adding the joke back to your userpage in a way that hopefully won't cause something like this in the future. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry | Discord: Blaze Wolf#0001 (talk) 20:45, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
I don't really think I want to add a joke on my userpage right now, but I appreciate the offer. --PerpetuityGrat (talk) 20:43, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
@PerpetuityGrat: Alright that's fine. It appears that an explanation of things can go a long way. I will actually inform Bbb23 of your reasoning for the joke so that they can learn (yes, even admins can learn). Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry | Discord: Blaze Wolf#0001 (talk) 20:46, 16 September 2021 (UTC)

Signature

Hello fellow user Blaze The Wolf. I can't help but notice that, in your signature, you have your discord username and tag. However, when I made an attempt to add you on Discord, I was notified that you are not currently accepting any friend requests. I believe that this makes your signature somewhat redundant and would recommend either changing the setting on Discord or removing it from your signature as it would make your signature look nicer. ― Tunakanski VeniVidiVici 15:46, 16 September 2021 (UTC)

Wait I'm not accepting friend requests? That's odd. I swear that I am. I'll check my settings on Discord to make sure I'm accepting friend requests. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry | Discord: Blaze Wolf#0001 (talk) 15:48, 16 September 2021 (UTC)

On the subject of your signature, I'd maybe recommend shortening it. WP:CUSTOMSIG/P advises that A distracting, confusing, or otherwise unsuitable signature may adversely affect other users. For example, some editors find that long formatting disrupts discourse on talk pages, or makes working in the edit window more difficult. Your signature is quite long now, and becoming a bit hard to navigate. I don't think adding a discord username is necessary, this is better on a userpage (as I have done). It may also open you up to spam friend requests/messages from bots. It is your choice, of course :) — Berrely • TalkContribs 18:57, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
@Berrely: I'm used to spam bots on Discord at this point. THe only reason I've added my Discord username is so people don't have to go to my user page to find it. I'm seeing some people using small fonts and custom formatting in their signatures (some of which may help in making my signature shorter), however I have no clue how to add stuff like that to my signature and not mess something up. I really want to make my signature look neater and a bit shorter but I also don't want to get rid of the stuff that's already in it. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry | Discord: Blaze Wolf#0001 (talk) 19:01, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
To add custom links, colors, text, and other stuff to your signature, you can check the "Treat the above as wiki markup" box in your preferences. For more info see WP:CUSTOMSIGLevi_OPTalk 19:07, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
@Levi OP: I actually already have that box checked (that's the entire reason I have pipe brackets in my signature). But I will check that out. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry | Discord: Blaze Wolf#0001 (talk) 19:08, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
Here is a cool list of signatures that you can get some inspiration from / edit User:Athaenara/Gallery. If you have any questions or need any signature related help, i'm always available and I'm pretty familiar with wikimarkup/html/css  Levi_OPTalk 19:13, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
@Levi OP: I looked at WP:CUSTOMSIG and it made no sense to me and kinda just confused me. I had learned some HTML code in a middle school class at one point, however I've pretty much completely forgotten it (and it wouldn't have really helped anyway because it was for making a website). I looked at User:Athaenara/Gallery although it didn't really help me much. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry | Discord: Blaze Wolf#0001 (talk) 19:32, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
What is it that you want to look like? I'll dm you on discord later if you'd like me to help you make one :) ― Levi_OPTalk 19:34, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
@Levi OP: I'd appreciate that! I'll make sure I'm accepting friend requests on Discord (which is what this was initially about, me including my Discord username being redundant because I'm somehow not accepting friend requests). Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry | Discord: Blaze Wolf#0001 (talk) 19:37, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
It seems as if you are now accepting friend requests and I send one on over! ― Levi_OPTalk 21:26, 16 September 2021 (UTC)

Help with Vandalism

Hi Blaze! First, thank you for being so kind. Second, I would love some help with how to label things. Vandalism, unconstructive, etc. I have been having actually a lot of fun with editing since I started but this whole thing has me so anxious that my stomach hurts. I would never want to push someone away from Wikipedia and I would love some help trying to avoid this in the future. I have spent some time reading through the different resources, but there is so much content to see and learn and it's so easy to make a mistake. Thank you kindly! I appreciate your time talking to me. Plutobutbigger :-) 21:44, 16 September 2021 (UTC)

@Plutobutbigger: No problem! There's no need to be anxious. Something I like to do is (as long as the user hasn't made too many unconstructive edits before I notice) before I ever warn them, I add a welcome message to their userpage. If you feel like you could use it appropriately I would suggest using Twinkle, which (along with RedWarn) is what I use to fight vandalism. I like Twinkle because not only does it allow me to undo multiple edits by a single user (called rollback) without rollback perms, but it also allows me to add a welcome message to their userpage. Imo adding a welcome message before you warn someone always shows that you are assuming good faith. It still allows me to let the user know that what they did was wrong as I am able to choose between multiple different welcome messages depending on the situation. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry | Discord: Blaze Wolf#0001 (talk) 21:52, 16 September 2021 (UTC)
@Blaze The Wolf: Ahhh this sounds like a great idea. I will look into it. Thanks again for being so kind! Plutobutbigger :-) 16:37, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
@Plutobutbigger: No problem! I'm always happy to help! ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#0001 16:53, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
Hello, Blaze,
I was just visiting some user talk pages and saw your comment. I want to thank you for posting a Welcome message along with a warning. I visit the user talk pages of a lot of new editors and this often doesn't happen, even with experienced editors. Considering there is a learning curve to working on Wikipedia and the error might be a mistake, just posting a warning with no other information on finding resources like the Teahouse to bring their questions, leaves a bad impression on a new editor. This is probably one reason why most editors who make a few edits don't become more involved in the project. So, thank you for welcoming new editors, even ones that might initially seem troublesome. Liz Read! Talk! 03:43, 18 September 2021 (UTC)
@Liz: No problem! It's a self-policy I have, always welcome users before you warn them unless they've made tons of bad edits. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#0001 01:12, 19 September 2021 (UTC)

I wouldn’t recommend adding that to your userpage

Hey I’m not trying to be rude or forcing you to fo anything. But I wouldn’t recommend adding a section on a stupid thing you did to your userpage.CycoMa (talk) 00:16, 17 September 2021 (UTC)

@CycoMa: How come? I don't see any issue with it. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry | Discord: Blaze Wolf#0001 (talk) 00:19, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
@Blaze The Wolf: I would agree with CycoMa. No reason to keep around permanent memorials to mistakes which had no widespread impact. Better to write about one's successes…some editors might find it necessary to explain any past blocks they may have had, but certainly not something small like this. That said, it's your call. Clarification of your AN/I comment

On AN/I you wrote: Honestly it kinda reminds me of what happened with me after I was banned from Fandom. I got banned and about a year later I looked back on my ban and saw that they were right for banning me and so I requested I get another chance stating this and also that I had changed in that year. To what does the word "Fandom" refer in this statement? I can't find any evidence you were every community banned, sanctioned, banned by an admin on Wikipedia for any reason, etc. Psiĥedelisto (talkcontribs) please always ping! 22:23, 21 September 2021 (UTC)

It's not on Wikipedia. It's referring to when I was banned on the website Fandom. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#0001 22:24, 21 September 2021 (UTC)
Oh right, the new name of Wikia. I get it now. I have found it very difficult to get used to that rebranding, I keep forgetting it happened. And certainly continue to prefer the old name, lol. Starting off

Alright, so in terms of contributing to Wikipedia I would like to start off small. By that, I mean entry-level understanding ways to be conducive to the encyclopedia. CosmicJacuzzi (talk) 17:09, 23 September 2021 (UTC)

Ok, thank you for the suggestion. I will definitely look into that. I do have a question about the category for all listed unreferenced BLPs. I noticed that Daniel Baron had an unreferenced tag, despite having quite a few references. My question is "Is the category for unreferenced BLPs sort of a catch-all for BLP articles that have issues with being properly sourced?" Thanks. CosmicJacuzzi (talk) 17:30, 23 September 2021 (UTC)
Geez I Didn't know any edit to a talk page would give you that notification someone left a message on it IF you'd prefer not to do find secondary sources for BLPs you could edits in areas of interest which is mainly what I do unless it's anti-vandal work or copy editing (basically changing the wording to make more sense and to fit better with other sentences) ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#0001 17:59, 23 September 2021 (UTC)

Slime Rancher development

Per your WP:JOB request, I came across a bit at Game Developer (website). This source is greenlisted at Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources as 'generally reliable' but make sure you note inline what is taken from an interview as a primary source. (e.g.: according to lead game developer x "quote" or paraphrase)

Some other random stuff, not sure if this would add to the article or just be redundant:

Article looks pretty sharp, good work! – Reidgreg (talk) 14:01, 23 September 2021 (UTC)

@Reidgreg: Thanks! That's actually rather helpful. DO you think you could find any sources of the actual development process of the game itself? ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#0001 14:05, 23 September 2021 (UTC)

I'll try to do some more digging.

 • I believe that this Youtube video is Popovich's talk on which the second Game Developer piece is based. You might be able to mine it for more factoids, keeping in mind that it's a primary source. Use cite AV media and rp to note the time (minutes into the video).
 • A similar video from GDC 2017 youtube

Background on lead programmer Mike Thomas (most of the PR is from his Monomi partner Nick Popovich):

If I'm reading things right, it seems like the game wasn't 'finished' until its official release version, so it was still in development while millions(?) of people were playing it on Easy Access. So you could possibly include some of that.

Also:

Skybound games is mentioned only in the infobox, so would be good to have something in the prose:

Tagging pages for deletion

Hello, Blaze The Wolf,

I just deleted the user pages you tagged for deletion and I just wanted to put in a plug for using Twinkle as an easy way to tag pages for deletion as you select from available CSD criteria depending on the type of pages it is. It's very straight-forward and has a drop down menu at the top of the page, the only caveat is that I don't know if you edit on a mobile device...I don't so I'm not sure how it appears for mobile phone users. But it has some great features, you can easily set up a AFD or RFD along with CSD and PRODs and the best part is that it posts a notification for page creators so you don't have to write up a message. Any way, I've found it makes things like tagging pages much easier. Happy editing! Liz Read! Talk! 18:58, 4 October 2021 (UTC)

@Liz: Actually I'm already using Twinkle and used it to tag my userpages. I simply changed the reasoning because I forgot U1 was a thing. I decided it would be a good idea to add my reasoning as to why I wanted it removed even though it would've been removed anyway per U1 ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:00, 4 October 2021 (UTC)

You are very welcome to   alternatively, I am currently active on the Wikimedia community discord. I would suggest a more private discussion given the context, but its your choice ~TNT (she/her • talk) 18:55, 6 October 2021 (UTC)
@TheresNoTime: I'm unable to access the Discord right now as I"m in school which blocks Discord for obvious reasons (do you really think the school wants kids using social media during school?) although it's rather pointless because kids can simply not use school wifi to view social media websites on their phones. But that's just how I feel about it. Anyways, in response to the email, my age is the only personal info I will publicly disclose I have disclosed the city I live in however it was to only a few editors and it was merely because it would assist in editing subjects related to my city due to me being a local resident and therefore being able to access things that probably aren't available elsewhere, although that info can be oversighted if you would like due to the editors that would benefit from knowing my city knowing it and those who don't know don't know, however I will still bring it up in places where I see it as beneficial and relevant... this was a longer tangent than i expected. As I stated above I'm not willing to publicly disclose my email because it contains my real name. I could probably create an email for stuff on Wikipedia exclusively however I have no need to do so. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:02, 6 October 2021 (UTC)
Yes I imagine that wouldn't end well for the school..! As I said in my email:
If you really wish to disclose your age [...], there is no specific policy which prevents you doing so.
The only further suggestion I have for you, should you still wish to disclose it, is to be careful how and where you do so. Many thanks ~TNT (she/her • talk) 19:12, 6 October 2021 (UTC)
Will do. Thanks! ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:25, 6 October 2021 (UTC)
Blaze, a few years ago, I created a separate GMail account just for Wikipedia business although my regular email now gets so much junk, my Wikipedia email is my new regular email address. It really makes things simpler to connect an email account without any personal information in the address and GMail is free...it's just sometimes a problem to come up with an address that isn't already taken. I recommend it. Liz Read! Talk! 22:51, 6 October 2021 (UTC)

Ultimately if you would like to reveal certain personal information, while I think it unwise and would advise you against it, I would suggest you not be stopped from doing so. However, it is not alright to restore the birthdate of children, especially under the questionable summary that it was sourced (given that the "source" is inaccessible), as you did at a recently deleted A7. If you have any questions about this please let me know. Barkeep49 (talk) 23:47, 6 October 2021 (UTC)

Reverting edits

Hello, Blaze The Wolf,

I'm posting here after looking at a page history of Sandy Marton where you got into an edit war with an IP editor who was making a big edit and removing content but who was correcting a problem with an article and you reinstated the bad content. I just wanted to drop you a note because I noticed you primarily (but not exclusively) revert IP editors. This is not uncommon among anti-vandalism editors (some of whom ONLY revert IP editors) but you really need to look at the edit and make sure it's a bad edit before reverting it. If it's not vandalism and you are reverting more than once, then you could be cited as being in an edit war yourself. While I've read that most vandalism is done by IP editors it's not true that most IP editors are vandals, the majority are just regular editors...in fact, I edited as an IP editor for a few years before deciding to create an account and I know that's true for a fair number of editors.

I think there is also an unconscious bias among most editors to support editors who have created accounts. IP editors are also less likely to complain on your talk page if you revert them so it is less likely for there to be consequences if you make a mistake with reverting their edits. This isn't a phenomenon specific to you, it's just an observation I've seen with editors here on Wikipedia.

So, all I'm trying to say here is to make sure you are being even-handed when dealing with IP editors vs. created account editors and check edits before you revert them. Sometimes big edits and content removal is a good edit even if the edit summary isn't that helpful or explanatory. Sound good? Thank you for your work on Wikipedia. Liz Read! Talk! 23:19, 7 October 2021 (UTC)

@Liz: I might as well just quit anti-vandal work then.. I've tried learning how to spot the difference between good and bad edits at WP:CVUA but my issue is, my instructor doesn't appear to be actively working on teaching me as I complete the things (I literally just completed the 2nd part of it and still haven't gotten further). So if I can't tell the difference between good and bad edits then I should just quit. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 23:31, 7 October 2021 (UTC)

Workshop Follow-up: "What is the Best AI model for Content Moderation on Wikipedia?"

Dear @Blaze The Wolf: following up our previous conversation, I would love to invite you for a workshop on the ORES model. I know you prefer non-zoom format, but we're struggling to meet every editor's preference. I would if you would consider using zoom without video (or simply dial in) to participate in the workshop? If so, would you mind filling up this short survey for our workshop: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScCsDfOU1ssHu5MtmqHybS4BGV7Ru6HzSmQBi5SGh8Vuij_OQ/viewform. We are preparing the materials and hopefully can send out the scheduling survey by the end of this week! Please feel free to ping me if you have any questions! Thanks so much again! Bobo.03 (talk) 19:12, 11 October 2021 (UTC)

@Bobo.03: Hello Bobo! Nice to hear from you again. If at all possible I would prefer to do a Discord call (if you could possibly transmit the audio of the zoom through Discord) as I mainly only use Zoom with things that have to do with my personal life (I consider Wikipedia part of my online life). ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:17, 11 October 2021 (UTC)
If not then I will see what I can do to anonymize myself as much as possible on Zoom, although I may not be able to attend it depending on when it is due to my complex schedule. The best time for me would be the Saturday after next (although this may change). ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:20, 11 October 2021 (UTC)
@Blaze The Wolf: Thanks so much for your reply! I think you can keep anonymous on zoom if you choose the "dia in" option (or simply only showing your audio without video). We are flexible on this while linking Discord with Zoom might be a bit challenging for us :) If this works for you, would you mind fill in the survey above so we can plan the workshop with the editors? Thank again for your time! I really appreciate it!

@Blaze The Wolf: Thanks so much! We haven't had a date planned but will send out a schedule link (e.g., When2meet) to your email address by the end of this week to understand your availability (currently my understanding is you are available next Saturday (10/23)), correct? Thanks!

Bobo.03 (talk) 20:24, 11 October 2021 (UTC)

@Bobo.03: No, I am available on 10/30 (tentatively) although 11/6 would be better since currently I won't have anything going on that day. On 10/23 I am out of town for something related to my school. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 20:50, 11 October 2021 (UTC)

Question from Martin Andrew Rowley (15:38, 12 October 2021)

How do I create an entry for a business --Martin Andrew Rowley (talk) 15:38, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

@Martin Andrew Rowley: Hello Martin! Before I tell you how you create an article (not an entry) for a business, there are some things you need to be aware of. First, you need to make sure you don't have a Conflict of Interest with the subject of the article you're wanting to create, and you must make sure that if you're being paid by the business you disclose it on your userpage, see WP:PAID for info on how to do this. Second, is Wikipedia's notability guidelines, which determine whether or not something should have an article or not. In this case, you'll specifically want to look at the notability guidelines for businesses. If you've determined that the subject is notable then the next thing you'll want to do is take a look at your first article, which is a guide on creating your very first article. Creating a new article is very difficult and it's often recommended that new users get experience editing other articles before creating their first one. If you have any other questions feel free to let me know! ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:44, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

Page review

Please see User_talk:JBchrch#I_moved_Draft:Museums_of_Florence_back_to_draft_space where JBchrch stated

 • The applicable policies are WP:NOTESSAY and WP:PROMO. But the most important piece of policy you need to be aware of is WP:WIKIVOICE, which, unfortunately, your draft falls short of.

As I explained there, every one of those was an "incorrect" and I mean incorrect policy. If not explain how they apply. They are incorrect policy applications, and your confidence in the review process is misplaced, obviously. And of course you have given no reason at all why Museums in Paris can exist as a non-list but Museums of Florence can not.You gave no reasons. Why not? Ode+Joy (talk) 19:30, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

@Ode+Joy: Well first, I think there might be something wrong with your signature as when I use the reply tool it says it cannot find the section I'm attempting to reply to (although it might be some other issue). Also, your argument of Musemyseums in Paris isn't a list doesn't make a lot of sense as WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS says this, "The nature of Wikipedia means that you cannot make a convincing argument based solely on whether other articles do or do not exist, because there is nothing stopping anyone from creating any article." My reasoning is that Museums of Florence as it is now would probably be better off as a list. I suggested that it be moved to draftspace so you can work on it, as Draft space is there so you can work on an article before it's ready to be moved to mainspace without the chance of it getting deleted because it isn't ready for an article yet. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 19:40, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
@Blaze The Wolf: First, I will probably not work on it as a list. If I wanted to build a list I would have done that, as I mentioned on the talk page when I started the article. Your reasoning about Museums in Paris is, however, refreshingly correct! So contrary to popular opinion, a few people on Wikipedia actually understand policy. But you did not state how the policies quoted by JBchrch applied. I guess because you know they were incorrect. In any case, I have had enough of these nonsense discussions on the Afd. I will support your suggestions and get it moved to draft, so we can move on. Thanks. Ode+Joy (talk) 19:58, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
@Ode+Joy: No problem! I don't know why no one told you that your argument didn't make sense and told you about OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. Also I think I can see why they would say WP:WIKIVOICE would apply as reading your article myself I'm seeing some things that I wouldn't necessarily say are promotional, but could simply be worded in a better way. If you'd like I can help you clean up your draft so this doesn't happen again. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 20:03, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
@Blaze The Wolf: I will not debate it further, but WIKIVOICE is about neutrality. This is not a controversial article, and there is no neutrality issue, given that no one disputes anything. JBchrch was just incorrect. Now, can I just move the article back to draft? I will move a few sentences to Florence itself and point the article to that section, then we will be done. The planet will survive without this article. Ode+Joy (talk) 20:08, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
@Ode+Joy: Yes you can move the article back to draft, although you might need some assistance doing so due to the Draft page being a redirect to the mainspace. Again if you'd like me to help you with the draft I can, but it's entirely up to you if you want my assistance or not. Although I do want to say that I would wait on adding sentences to Florence that point to the section of the article you're making until the article goes to mainspace (although I may be interpreting what you're saying wrong). ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 20:15, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
@Blaze The Wolf: Look, I just want to be done with this dumb Afd discussion. Could you please move the page if you know how. Thanks. Ode+Joy (talk) 20:19, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
@Ode+Joy: I can do that. MIght be a bit before the article is actually moved because I have to request the draft page to be deleted so I can actually move the mainspace page to the draftspace page. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 20:21, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

@Blaze The Wolf: Amazing. Someone on Wikipedia who is actually helpful? But you have been helpful, and aware of policy, which is more than I can say for the reviewers who are "preconditioned" to be tough and unreasonable due to the anger they get from the clueless users who want to build pages for bus stops near their house. Yes, I have seen an attempt to build a page for a bus stop. In any case, please move the page and we are done. Thanks. Ode+Joy (talk) 20:25, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

(talk page watcher) It's not appropriate to move this to draft mid-AFD. Blaze, please make sure you don't do so. Let the AFD runs it's course, and if the topic is deleted (versus draftified), you can generally ask for a refund to draft afterwards. -- ferret (talk) 20:30, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
@Ferret: Ah alright, thank you for telling me. I'll undo my CSD on the draft page. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 20:31, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
Note I haven't reviewed the article or looked at the in progress AFD. Simply noting the process has begun and moving it at this time is certain to result in a revert and more conflict. -- ferret (talk) 20:31, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
@Ferret: @Blaze The Wolf: Can I request some type of "speedy conclusion" to the Afd? Then the course will have run. Right? Ode+Joy (talk) 20:34, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
@Ode+Joy: Unfortunately it's not as simple as that. The closest thing there is to a speedy conclusion is either a WP:SNOW close or the nominator withdraws their nomination (which I have done multiple times because I don't look for sources as thoroughly as I should sometimes when trying to determine an article's notability). You have to wait 7 days after either the article is first nominate or the last vote is cast (I can't remember which one it is) if neither of the "speedy conclusions" I mentioned happen. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 23:23, 12 October 2021 (UTC)

Blaze, I would have appreciated a ping on this. Thanks. JBchrch talk 12:35, 13 October 2021 (UTC)

Hello Blaze The Wolf. I'm an administrator and also a moderator on the Discord, as you may have seen. I want to give you some advice, I see you are making a lot of comments at ANI and elsewhere recently. I don't think these comments are particularly helpful, I'll provide some examples and explain the issues with them:

 • Your comments in this discussion are not very helpful with regards to helping alleviate the overall dispute. As a new user, it isn't a good idea to get into disputes where passions are high, and it's especially not a good idea to be the first person to reply to the ANI not with help, but with a joke. Same goes for here- if you don't know what to do or say it's best to do nothing.
 • edits like these; EEng is a regular of these noticeboards and is usually joking with his comments and edits, you pointing out to him what he already likely knew may come off as annoying. I had some similar struggles when I was younger, too. My advice is to just not comment if you're not sure if someone is being serious or not.
 • I'm seeing a lot of comments at a few different places where you are guessing or admitting to not knowing everything when responding to a question from another (usually new) user. If you're not sure or are guessing, it is not a good idea to respond. You might end up giving someone advice that isn't correct, which could get them in trouble in the future. I mean this in a nice way, but because of this I really don't think you should be on the mentor list- you haven't been here long enough, you aren't currently knowledgeable enough to be one.
 • Discussions like this indicate you're having a hard time figuring out what to work on and do at Wikipedia. Early on, I had the same feeling- I made pointless, unhelpful comments at noticeboards, I would file a bunch of bad AFDs, I got rejected at PERM, and I was in general really all over the place. I felt very dejected and unwelcome, and briefly quit the project. Eventually I came back and focused on one particular area (addressing copyright violations), and focusing on this area allowed me to greatly improve my editing. Now, I am a pretty widely respected administrator.
 • I've noticed your above difficulties with anti-vandalism work. My advice is to not revert everything that's tagged as an issue; there's a lot of false positives tagged by software that are fine. If you're not sure if somethings vandalism, just don't revert it- there are plenty of anti vandals out there, and someone else can deal with that edit instead of you.

You are a newer editor, and a lot of your edits have been to behind the scenes stuff. This is not a healthy look for a newcomer, and in the (relatively) short time I've been an admin, I've seen this story countless times; a younger user tries to do a lot of different things and ends up being blocked in the end, because they are getting into more trouble than helping people. I will be upfront: the path you are currently on will likely end with you blocked. If you don't want this to happen, I suggest you stop your comments at ANI and other noticeboards, stop responding to questions at the Teahouse and other places, and finally, listen to the warnings and advice you have received from previous admins and users. If you don't listen to the advice from these users you are going to have a difficult time continuing on this project. My advice is to try and find a narrower area to work in and stay there for a while, and maybe expand your editing after a long time in that area- I didn't even really expand my editing that much until after I became an admin. It's that, or just taking a longer break from Wikipedia, and do something else. It's good to clear your mind and come back with a fresh prospective.

If you want to continue this conversation through DM or mail I am OK with that. Moneytrees🏝️Talk/CCI guide 00:48, 13 October 2021 (UTC)

I'm not going to beat on you or add much more to what Moneytrees has already said. I just want to state that I agree with his general views here. Slow it down in projectspaces. Get some focus in on content or general gnoming. But mostly, understand that this isn't just Moneytrees, or Liz from earlier, or Nick from earlier, or me. There's a pattern here, and you really need to read and listen. -- ferret (talk) 00:58, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
So you want me to quit Wikipedia. Because it feels like no matter what I try, I always manage to screw something up. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 01:59, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
Fine. I can do that. If you don't appreciate the GOOD stuff I do then I might as well just not be here. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 02:00, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
Why would you say that either of these editors want you to quit Wikipedia when neither said any such thing? Moneytrees took a lot of time and effort to give you some excellent advice. If that editor wanted you to quit, would they have spent so much time? Please recall that on March 30, over six months ago, I told you Unless you are sure that your answer is accurate and useful, please do not respond to questions at the Teahouse. Do not guess. We all want you to keep editing, but we want you to to edit in a consistently productive way. For example, I want you to answer Teahouse questions when you are 99+% sure that your answer is correct, but please do not guess or speculate, because incorrect answers are damaging to new editors and to the Teahouse. The same general principle applies everywhere on Wikipedia. Always strive to do no harm. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 03:10, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
Blaze, I want you to listen to me. What the editors above are explaining to you is to benefit you and your editing experience here while also protect the project. We can't jump to the worst conclusions here, we aren't going to do that, okay? They are trying to give you sound advice and I know it seems terse and abrupt or blunt but I want you to understand from someone that you have communicated with and respects you greatly that no one commenting on this thread wants you to quit Wikipedia. If they did then they wouldn't spend time explaining things and offering advice. I joined the Teahouse to offer help but you see that I don't answer a lot. I'm still fairly new and I am taking time to learn policies and the ins and outs of the project so I can explain things better but I will not answer unless I am very confident. You are brilliant and very knowledgeable. You are an asset to this project. Take the advice and apply it to your editing practices, please. I know it hurts to be chastised and corrected. Please do not react too quickly. I am always here to discuss things in relation to your experiences here on Wikipedia or editing in general and offer sound advice as a wiki-friend and fellow editor. --ARoseWolf 15:40, 18 October 2021 (UTC)

Thank you for answering my question so perfectly and in such a timely manner! Have a cookie! Also, I was sad to see on your user page how you said you are sad about the current state of wikipedia. I am a new editor (kinda), and I really like this beautiful wiki, but I do think it can get scary sometimes with senior editors reverting things and sometimes being rude. Otherwise, I think its a whacky, weird, wonderful place, but I hope this cookie cheers you up! Th78blue (They/Them/Their • talk) 21:38, 16 November 2021 (UTC)

@Th78blue: I definitely can. Are you talking about a button at the top that says "New section" or the trout button? ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 22:47, 16 November 2021 (UTC)

About what I'm seeing on your user page and stuff

 1. About your discouragement: I'm very sorry to hear your discouraged. I still like your duties at the Teahouse, you're amazing there! I hope you regain your confidence and become a great Wikipedian once again!
 2. About you being slightly autistic: I've never plucked up the courage to say this, but I've finally gained the confidence to - I am autistic as well. So sorry if I get a little bit tedious and angry on my (or anyone else's) talk page messages. This is the reason that's happening.
 3. About you wanting to be called "Blaze" or "Wolf" or nothing at all: Can I call you "Blaze The Wolf" if I'm pinging you? (Because obviously I can't do @Blaze or @Wolf)
 4. What's a furry?

WaterflameIsAwesome (talk) 23:40, 17 November 2021 (UTC)

@WaterflameIsAwesome: 1. Thanks for telling me this. I've been feeling better since I put that message there but I"m not feeling quite all the way quite yet so I've kept it.
2. That would explain a lot about your behavior and you overreacting to some things (as I do myself sometimes)
3. Yes that is perfectly fine. I mainly ask that people call me Blaze or Wolf if they're referring to me outside of a ping.
4. See furry fandom for an explanation ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 01:33, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
Ok thanks for the responses. Also, how do you do the trout slapping thing? It seems weird but cool too. WaterflameIsAwesome (talk) 02:15, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
@WaterflameIsAwesome: You can add the template to your talk page or just use the template trout to slap someone. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 02:47, 18 November 2021 (UTC)
Also I see your page move of Among Us as being in good faith, however we don't really disambiguate unless there are multiple things with the same name, in which case a disambig is needed (even then Among Us would be the primary topic). For example, furry is a disambiguation page because there are multiple topics related to that word. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 02:54, 18 November 2021 (UTC)

Assumptions

Hi, I very rarely bother to read other editor's user pages, I treat everyone as just another name in an edit history or a talk page conversation. Even if I get into a deep or convoluted discussion I just go by what they're saying. I find most people's user pages fairly uninteresting anyway. Yours is rather different. I realised that I had jumped to certain conclusions about you on the Ref Desk computers page, and I just wanted to apologize. Sorry you're feeling down about WP, fool comments like mine won't help either. I used to suffer from deep, dark, long-term depression. One thing that helped a lot was St. John's Wort, a herbal extract which really does work to close the trap door down to the cellar of your mind. I was eventually diagnosed with an under-active thyroid gland, for which there is very effective medication. Hope things improve for you. Best wishes, MinorProphet (talk) 14:40, 19 November 2021 (UTC)

@MinorProphet: It's alright. Again, I've been doing better since I added that message but I'm still not quite all the way. May I ask what assumptions you were making about me (since my userpage doesn't really say I know anything about computers)? ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 14:44, 19 November 2021 (UTC)
Don't worry about it, I just managed to confuse myself somehow about you and what you do on WP. It's really not important. Cheers, >MinorProphet (talk) 15:24, 19 November 2021 (UTC)
@MinorProphet: I'm simply just curious about what you assumed about me. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 15:43, 19 November 2021 (UTC)

New User, Need help!

hello, Blaze The Wolf i am Stobene45. I am new to Wikipedia and I asked for help in the teahouse. I got 2 replies there and got a notification from the Wikipedia teahouse that I should try seeking help from experienced editors and it suggested ur username so here I am. Now I will not bore u with the back story and straight to the topic I need some guide to steps to add a citation and where should we add citations in an edit. I would really appreciate any kind of help. Thankyou Stobene45 (talk) 03:54, 2 July 2021 (UTC)

@Stobene45: Apologies for the late response, I was asleep at the time you messaged me. I'm not exactly the best user to get help from to be honest. IF you look at my talk page archive, you will see that I've had a few issues. However, I will do my best to help you out. So, you need help adding citations and figuring out how to add them from what you said? Well, depending on how you do it, it can be as easy as clicking a button and as hard as writing "code". I say code but it's not really code, it's sort of what Wikipedia uses (i'm using it in this very message!) to show special things. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) 15:11, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
I actually forgot that my name is still one of the ones that will appear in that message. I'm not actually that much of an experienced user. I'm more of an intermediate user. I'm not quite a complete newbie but I"m not an experienced user either. I'm in between. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) 15:14, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
After looking at your profile, I might not be the best user to help you as you are from India and I'm from the USA. Your native language is Hindi (although it appears you know English fairly well) and the only language I know is English. Anyways, you did the right thing asking on the Teahouse first. If your question hasn't already been answered there I'd be glad to help you out! Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) 15:19, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
@Blaze The Wolf: Thankyou for replying to my message. i can understand, and to be honest it wasn't any huge delay i am not very active on Wikipedia so i didn't even notice any delay. and abt getting help is that everyone in the teahouse is referring me the WP:Young but I guess there is a problem in my device as that page is not opening. I really need someone to just explain me the steps in message itself but i guess everyone is too busy. If we talk about me being in India so i would have no problem in understanding your messages so if u could help me i would be very Thankful. (And thankyou fro writing in source format as i got to learn some codes).Thankyou again for the reply and i hope i am not irritating u by messaging u constantly to help me. if i do pls tell me. And I am really sorry to reply in short as i didn't had anything to say more. Thankyou Stobene45 (talk) 04:43, 3 July 2021 (UTC)
@Stobene45: No problem! In my opinion, I think the best way for you to learn would be by seeing and being able to mess around with an actual page. However, if you were to do that you would get banned. So I have a solution. It's called the sandbox. If you look at my sandbox I currently have an actual page on Wikipedia copied to it as I was working on making it better. If you would like to take a look at it go to User:Blaze The Wolf/sandbox. Now, as for WP:YOUNG, what it is in a nutshell:
Feel free to write, but remember that we have some rules.
Ask the other writers if you need help. They are usually friendly.
You should never give out any personal information of any kind to anyone.
Never tell anyone about your "real" life.
The bottom 2 is simply general advice for being on the internet because some people are wanting to commit identity theft. If you would like to mess around with the page in my sandbox, simply copy what's in my sandbox from the source editor, and then go to your sandbox which would be located at User:Stobene45/sandbox. There is one thing that you shouldn't change while you have it in the sandbox though. Around the categories you will see <!-- and --> . Those are called commits. It basically makes it so that bit of Wikitext (the formatting/code Wikipedia uses in articles along with HTML) isn't included in the article. If those are removed the categories will be added to your Sandbox which isn't good as your sandbox shouldn't really be included in those categories. If this was too confusing for you let me know and I will try and help you figure out what I'm saying. Blaze The Wolf | Proud Furry and Wikipedia Editor (talk) 17:15, 3 July 2021 (UTC)

@CycoMa1: Nah I don't think it's rude. I honestly don't really do anything that shows I'm a mormon outside of preferring not to swear and not wanting to drink coffee and tea (but coffee flavored stuff is fine). ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 17:50, 30 November 2021 (UTC)
I find interesting that there are tons of Christian furries on Wikipedia.
I interacted with a Quaker furry, I’m a catholic scalie, and now there’s you a Mormon furry. I guess the Wikipedia article on the Furry Fandom wasn’t kidding our fandom is diverse.CycoMa1 (talk) 17:54, 30 November 2021 (UTC)
@CycoMa1: Yep, we are indeed diverse lol. In my religion we've actually been told to refrain from using terms such as Mormon and LDS and instead use the full name of the church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints), however while I do try and do my best with that, it's a bit long to type out and most people simply know us as Mormons or LDS, so I use those terms when referring to my religion on the internet to make it easier. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 18:01, 30 November 2021 (UTC)

Hello! I saw your question on my Talk page. The way I link to multiple sections in an edit summary is just by copying the source-text of the link in the summary. It goes

/* Heading * /

If you type that out in the edit summary, it creates a link to a heading that matches that name. P-Makoto (talk) 18:09, 30 November 2021 (UTC)

Hi Blaze, saw this on your user page by coincidence and just wanted to make you're aware -- anatidaephobia isn't actually a real fear, it's a joke based on this 1988 comic by Gary Larson. While it is reasonably conceivable that someone might be deathly afraid of ducks in general (I remember getting assaulted by a gang of swans once myself), it's safe to assume that anyone referring to this particular phenomenon is joking. You don't have to remove the section from your user page, it doesn't really matter to me, but I do wonder if it might be worthwhile to add another chapter to this redlink's storied history, especially considering the fairly respectable 850k-ish Google hits that the term gets, old RfD or not. Maybe a redirect to a new subsection on Larson's BLP? Anyway, just thinking out loud at this point, have a nice day! AngryHarpytalk 20:19, 1 December 2021 (UTC)

@AngryHarpy: I actually didn't know that lol. I googled it and saw nothing that showed it was a fake fear. But that would make sense considering how absurd the phobia is. OH well, still qualifies for that section! ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 21:21, 1 December 2021 (UTC)

Re: Ping

I didn't realize you were not still in the Discord, so I removed the text which mentioned you. –MJLTalk 18:52, 2 December 2021 (UTC)

@MJL: Ah ok that would explain it. I'm planning on rejoining it soon, once I feel a bit more confident in my editing ability. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 18:54, 2 December 2021 (UTC)
[Thank you for the ping] Well feel free to join sooner than that lol. You're always free to just lurk.  MJLTalk 19:05, 2 December 2021 (UTC)

Pokemon sales figures

I do not use Wikipedia regularly. I just registered to point that issue. I probably won't be replying in the future. I am telling you in case you ask something and I never reply. It is not my intent to be rude. --Taketrite (talk) 22:17, 2 December 2021 (UTC)

@Taketrite: That is perfectly acceptable. Thank you for pointing out that issue. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 22:21, 2 December 2021 (UTC)

Signature

Hi Blaze, could you possibly tell me how you made yourself such a nice signature. I am really interested in these fancy siganutes. Itcouldbepossible (talk) 02:55, 1 December 2021 (UTC)

@Itcouldbepossible: You can go to Preferences > User profile > scroll down to Signature. If you want to learn how to make a cool signature you can go to Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing your signature. --The Tips of Apmh 15:31, 2 December 2021 (UTC)
@The Tips of Apmh Yes, but it has little examples. Consider your signature, how did you make that. Or say someone else's, they are super fancy. Can you help me make a signature?? I already modified my signature using to show my talk page and contributions, but I also want to add a colour and some style you know. So can you help??? Itcouldbepossible (Talk) (Contributions) 02:34, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
@Itcouldbepossible: This is the current code for my signature for reference:
<span style="color:#0000FF">The Tips of</span> <span style="color:#00b02f">Apmh</span>
and this is the one for Blaze The Wolf:
<b style="background:#0d1125;color:#51aeff;padding:1q;border-radius:5q;">Blaze The Wolf</b>TalkBlaze Wolf#6545
--The Tips of Apmh 05:10, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
@The Tips of Apmh thanks but can you possibly tell me, how you know others signature codes. We are not supposed to know that isn't it. We can only look at out preferences. Then how do you know?? Itcouldbepossible (Talk) (Contributions) (Log) 05:26, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
@Itcouldbepossible: Whenever you sign it just puts the code for your signature on the page. You can see it when going into the source editor. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 13:14, 3 December 2021 (UTC)

Email

I got your email. I haven't responded but will do so soon. Thank you for watching over my talk page and answering questions. Sometimes we just want to help so much but people do things that limit our ability to help them. This seems like one of those moments. --ARoseWolf 13:23, 3 December 2021 (UTC)

@ARoseWolf: No prolem. As I stated in the email I would've told you on your talk page but it's not really appropriate to do so. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 13:48, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
I understand. --ARoseWolf 13:49, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
