editYour recent editing history at Aircraft maintenance engineer (Canada) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. - Ahunt (talk) 13:15, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
Historical origins of the AME
editHi, I have rescued some of your material deleted from Aircraft maintenance engineer (Canada) and am reworking it here. If you have any comments to make, I would be glad for you to join the discussion. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 14:55, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
AME discussion
editHi, I moved the historical material to the Aircraft maintenance engineer article. There is now a discussion at Talk:Aircraft maintenance engineer which you might like to contribute to. Also, the sources I have been finding suggest that the threat to the AME or LAME is/was worldwide and not just restricted to Canada. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 15:34, 14 December 2015 (UTC)

Conduct warning
editWARNING. The accusations and threats which you made in this comment are wholly unacceptable. If you continue to pursue such gross violations of WP:CIVIL and related policies, you may be reported and sanctions may be taken against your ability to engage on Wikipeda. Note that this is your second conduct warning. There may not be another. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 10:22, 19 February 2016 (UTC)

Hello, CanadianAME. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, A.I.R Engineer, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:
- edit the page
- remove the text that looks like this:
{{proposed deletion/dated...}}
- save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 00:11, 6 August 2016 (UTC)
Notification of nomination for deletion of A.I.R Engineer

Proposed new home for A.I.R Engineer
editHi, I don't think your article can stay where it is. Can I suggest that you move it to whichever you consider to be the more usual of User:CanadianAME/AIR Engineer or User:CanadianAME/A.I.R. Engineer. It can then remain in your "user space" until it can be made publishable. Done quickly, this should with luck bypass the deletion proposal. If you are unsure about how to move it, let me know and I can do that for you. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 11:01, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
- OK, I have moved it. I also moved the other draft over and added code to your main user page to list them - and any others that might get created. I hope that is OK. If not, get back to me or whatever. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 18:40, 7 August 2016 (UTC)
- I will come and help tidy as and when I can, but as I say, I am very busy elsewhere for quite some time so I will not be able to do much. If you hit any Wikipedia-related issues, do drop me a line. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 08:43, 8 August 2016 (UTC)
