I removed the language regarding Don Vaccaro for the following reasons;

1. Mr. Vaccaro's charges in the cited case have been dismissed from the legal record, therefore, the reporting of the arrest and subsequent court dates is unfair to the company. If someone would like to begin a page for Mr. Vaccaro and report to that page he was arrested, so be it. I think you've been sold a line there, frankly. The charges were dismissed because "On May 29, 2012, Hartford Superior Court Judge, Jane Alexander, agreed that the charges could be dismissed if Vaccaro completed a two-year accelerated rehabilitation program, a form of probation, imposing conditions such as treatment for substance abuse and abstension from alcohol", not because he was exonerated, and it's clearly relevant to the company because of the relationship with the First Five program.

It may seem WP:UNDUE detail, but last time I looked at this, I found it necessary to write the removed text to make it clear that 1) Vaccaro was not charged but 2) Judge Alexander spoke as she did, without suggesting the incident did not happen.

I think I'll copy this discussion to Talk:TicketNetwork and see if anyone else joins. If not, I propose to reinstate the removed text. Also, it is interesting to note that when 12.206.13.222 says they are fairly new to this, they have forgotten to mention that they were editing TicketNetwork to insert links to one of the company's Websites in December 2012. Deletion of Ricky Castorena

Hello. I understand that you are a respected Wikipedia member. But I personally feel that the deletion of the page I created for the author named Ricky Castorena went unexplained. It didn't offend any people, wan't used for promotion, wasn't biased, and wasn't offensive to anyone. I checked the guidelines page and it didn't violate any of the requirement standards. I did see the post on my account about adding references and I was getting around to doing that. But due to work, I didn't have the time right then and there. I do, however, understand that references are needed and I was going to do that. I ask that the page be restored if there is anyway to do so, or that I have permission to recreate it. I feel that the author does deserve to have a Wikipedia page. I already created a wikia site based off of him and his novel. I ask that you please allow me to recreate the page. I look forward to discussing this with you.

We need your help testing latest huggle

I am sending you this message because you listed yourself on meta:Huggle/Members as a beta tester. We desperately need attention of testers, because since we resolved all release blockers, we are ready to release first official version of huggle 3! Before that happens, it would be nice if you could test it so that we can make sure there are no issues with it. You can download it packaged for your operating system (see Wikipedia:Huggle/Huggle3_Beta) or you can of course build it yourself, see https://github.com/huggle/huggle3-qt-lx for that. Don't forget to use always latest version, there is no auto-update message for beta versions!

Should you find any issue, please report it to wikimedia bugzilla, that is a central place for huggle bugs, where we look at them. That is i mportant, if you find a bug and won't report it, we can't fix it. New huggle 3.1 is going to be released soon

Hi Daonguyen95, we are to release a new major version of huggle, but we did receive almost no feedback from our beta testing team, which you are a part of (see https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Huggle/Members). It would be of a great help if you could download it (if you have windows, all you need to do is getting http://tools.wmflabs.org/huggle/files/huggle3.1.0beta.exe and putting it to a folder where you have installed huggle) and test it. You can always get a help with making it @ #huggle ^connect!

Major changes:

• Multisite support - you can now log in to unlimited number of wikis in 1 huggle session and get a huge queue of all edits made to these wikis. This is good for smaller projects which gets overlooked often.
• Ranged diffs - you can select multiple revisions and get a huge diff that display all changes done to them.
• Fixes of most of bug reports we had so far

I have recently launched a new downloads for beta testers that contains nightly builds of huggle, eg. versions that are built every day from our master branch and contains latest huggle. Please keep in mind that these don't have any automatic updates and if you download and start using nightly build, you will need to update it yourself! So don't get yourself to running old version, it's possible to install both stable and nightly huggle, which is what I suggest.

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

Hello, Daonguyen95. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Unfortunately I have to disagree with your opinion about my contributions not being constructive. I have worked in the chain of Intralot - more specifically their Dutch subsidiary Intralot Nederland BV - and I know how corrupt that entity was.

Could I maybe better make a new Wikipedia page for Intralot Nederland BV specifically or create a Wikipedia page for the Dutch State Lottery?

Invitation to Local Wikimania Event in San Francisco this Friday

Hi!

Wikimania is happening and hopefully you're enjoying the sessions. While it's fairly last minute, you're warmly invited to participate in the local Wikimania-themed meetup in the Wikimedia Foundation office this Friday (tomorrow!). You will have to register in advance, but we would love to see more people from the WikiSalon community participate! For more information and registration, please check out meta:Wikimania 2022/San Francisco Meetup.

The event will involve hacking, teaching, learning, and celebrating and we'll have snacks. We will have the opportunity to watch live sessions at Wikimania together in the afternoon. The rest of the day we'll have opportunity to participate in the hackathon, and we may have some on-demand workshops/learning sessions.

In case we run out of space, it's first-come-first-serve so let us know soon! Hope to see you there.
