Disambiguation link notification for January 28
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2014–15 Dunfermline Athletic F.C. season, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Mike Taylor, Jordan Brown and Shaun Byrne. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. re: Tips on stacking people
Hi.
First of all I am sorry if I sounded angry, it has been a long day but that is no excuse. Sorry.
About the stacking, we should only use stack if there is a match below. This to avoid double lines. So in other words, no stack on the bottom match. You can read more at User talk:Qed237/Archive 6#Stack or unstack where I explained it to an other user. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Have a nice day! Qed237 (talk) 21:51, 7 December 2015 (UTC)

Have you got a source at all please for his release? GiantSnowman 12:29, 8 January 2016 (UTC)
- Their website is utterly crap to be honest, I have used their official Twitter as a citation in the recent past - better than nothing! GiantSnowman 13:07, 8 January 2016 (UTC)

Yes, I think succession boxes are more appropriate for the likes of political offices and royalty where the criteria are easier to define. There have been a few discussions at WP:FOOTY on this issue, most recently here. Most editors seem to agree with me that captaincy is difficult to source and define, as it is more of an honorary position rather than something that is legal or contractual, and can sometimes chage from game to game depending on circumstances, making it hard to decide if someone is a permanent captain or not. It certainly wasn't a case of me picking on the Pars in particular, I just don't think they're appropriate for any club. Having said that, any problems of reliably sourcing captaincy information are likely to be magnified the smaller the club in question. Cheers, Jellyman (talk) 13:07, 8 January 2016 (UTC)
- No problem, thanks for being so accommodating with it. Jellyman (talk) 18:07, 8 January 2016 (UTC)
