Disambiguation link notification for July 21
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. FLC review request
Hi. Hope you're well. Sock and I have nominated another film accolades list for FLC. I was wondering if you had some time to review/comment on it. Many thanks in advance, [[1]] Cowlibob (talk) 19:16, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
Could I bother you to look at the Akshay Kumar filmography again? Skr15081997 has made a great effort in improving it and I've helped to make a few tweaks here and there as well. Overall I think it's significantly improved from when you initially commented. The article: [[2]]. The FLC: [[3]] Many thanks in advance, Cowlibob (talk) 18:35, 4 August 2014 (UTC)
- Hey, I have to agree that the lead looks in much better shape now! But I maintain that a lot more work needs done. I still spot several grammatical errors, unsourced claims, and peacock words in the prose and as I said earlier, I strongly recommend opening a peer review. Otherwise, a request can be made at the Guild of copy editors. I highly appreciate the work Skr has done here, and I would be willing you help him/her improve the prose outside of the FLC framework. -- KRIMUK90 ✉ 06:01, 5 August 2014 UTC)
- Firstly, thanks for looking at it, much appreciated! Those are fair comments. Would it possible for you to provide a list of the unsourced claims? It seems to be the most straightforward thing for SKR to sort out before his next nom. Also, I probably added some of those peacock words, which words would you advise to use when describing that an actor's performance was acclaimed and when describing a film's success at the box office for future reference. Cowlibob (talk) 16:40, 5 August 2014 (UTC)
- Sure, I'll do that shortly. -- KRIMUK90 ✉ 03:02, 6 August 2014 (UTC)

Articles on actors and actresses
Why do we have articles about actors who have appeared in just one or very small number of films. WP:NACTOR requires that the person should have acted in multiple notable films or has a significant cult following or has made very important contributions to their field. Is Tiger Shroff and several others notable enough to have their own articles.--Skr15081997 (talk) 13:34, 6 August 2014 (UTC)
- Hey. Since Tiger Shroff and his debut film has been widely covered by the Indian media, the subject does meet the notability guidelines IMO.-- KRIMUK90 ✉ 12:19, 7 August 2014 (UTC)
- There are many others articles on Bollywood actors who have acted in very few films, most of which haven't received that much coverage. What should be done in these cases.--Skr15081997 (talk) 12:58, 7 August 2014 (UTC)
- If you think some of the biography articles aren't notable enough, then you can nominate them for deletion. Wikipedia biography articles are not a reflection on how famous someone is. If the work done by that celebrity is notable, even if they aren't hugely well-known, then are they definitely notable enough to have their own page. For example, Nimrat Kaur, Rhea Chakraborty, Saqib Saleem are some actors who haven't yet established themselves among the A-list newcomers, unlike Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra or Alia Bhatt, but they are still notable enough to have their own articles. -- KRIMUK90 ✉ 13:04, 7 August 2014 (UTC)

- Thanks for the example. I agree with your viewpoint. Alia, Varun and Sidharth are notable enough to have their articles. They have both name and fame. What concerns me is large number of Bollywood actor/actresses' article which read in this way:
Page name is a Bollywood actor/ actress.(a few citations) He/ she debuted in this film.(cites)
Filmography 2 or 3 films.

- Most of the biographies listed here.--Skr15081997 (talk) 16:01, 7 August 2014 (UTC)
- Emm..okay! Why single out the articles created by one user? Some of these articles, like Neil Bhoopalam, are quite notable. I don't follow Indian television, so I don't know how notable the TV-stars are. For the film actors, there are plenty of sources available, so expanding those articles is what needs to be done, not deleting them. -- KRIMUK90 ✉ 16:09, 7 August 2014 (UTC)

- I have eyes. I have checked the revision history page: 2 reverts after Hrm's edits (2417 bytes each), another one using popups and also a 4th one. The latter 2 edits removed 486 bytes.--Skr15081997 (talk) 16:31, 7 August 2014 (UTC)

Why you have deleted 'no. of films with leading actors' in Aamir khan filmography? Abhi11193 (talk) 09:46, 12 August 2014 (UTC)Abhi11193
- Abhi11193: Because that is unencyclopedic. Kailash29792 (talk) 09:53, 12 August 2014 (UTC)
Why it is unencyclopedic? Many viewers want to know how many films a star has done with a particular star.Abhi11193 (talk) 10:06, 12 August 2014 (UTC)Abhi11193
- As I said in my edit summary, if you want to add content to a FL-class list without providing reliable sources, state your reasons in the talk page. In case of your edit, "many viewers want to know how many films a star has done with a particular star" is not a good reason for inclusion. If you want to talk about frequent collaborations, then a separate table may be creaated, but in Khan's case the number of collaborations wrt his number of films are not large enough to warrant a separate one. Also, your edit had several spelling errors and did not follow any of the manual of style we follow on Wikipedia. Btw, thanks Kailash for replying to the message. -- KRIMUK90 ✉ 14:45, 12 August 2014 (UTC)

Sorry about the delay
Hi there,
I apologize for the long delay. I was able to proofread your list, but was not able to give feedback on your article nomination. I definitely would have given you a support (even though I have never reviewed an article for FA status, I got some helo and I tried comparing to other similar articles). I had some house renovations and had to help out my family. Therefore my time was limited on Wikipedia.
Anyways, I was planning to nominate Academy Award for Best Actor for FL promotion in December, but because of the constant editing, I've decided to make that as my next list to promote. In the meantime, would you please proofread 59th Academy Awards for promotion so I can get it out of the way? I'd appreciate the help. Also if there is any film related help, I'll try to help (if I have time).

Hello there,
I finally initiated the nomination for Academy Award for Best Actor to be promoted as a featured list. I was originally planning to nominate this in December, but since too many people are complaining and tinkering with the list, I chose to nominate it earlier to settle this once and for all. Advice
Hi, Im trying to make the wiki article Fawad Afzal Khan into a featured article. Because of your experience in making featured articles, I was wondering if I could get advice from you or ask for your help? I've been looking at other featured articles and even really good articles and I've noticed a similar breakdown in formatting categories and also of what to include in different categories. I'm trying to find reliable sources to put information that adds to the article but one of the things is that Im not sure on how to deal with other user - do you have any advice on how to deal with them? They deleted a lot of stuff and its not that they deleted it but did so without discussing it on the talk page. Also, if possible, could pretty please take a look at the page and just give me your opinion on it? Im sorry for being a bother and if you don't have time for this its completely okay. Thanks so much!! I really appreciate it :) Kazmia92 (talk) 02:44, 2 October 2014 (UTC)
- Hi. Thank you for your message. A brief glance tells me that you are on the right track, though it does some extra work. The sourcing is decent, but the lead and career section need more expansion. Also, I think you would need more sources for such claims as "widespread success" etc. I think the best way to go about would be to open a peer review where several editors can help you out. I will also try to take a deeper look then, but in a limited way, as I am keeping quite busy of late. Anyway, I wish you all the best. :) -- KRIMUK90 ✉ 15:29, 3 October 2014 (UTC)

Iam not a Wikipedia editor
Respected Krimuk Sir,
- I am not a Wikipedia editor and I have made Wikipedia account to edit the height of actor Arjun Kapoor. I am very obsessed with that actor and always want to become like him. Sorry if I have deleted your Wikipedia information which have added to actor Arjun Kapoor's article. Now I don't want to add or delete information of actor Arjun Kapoor. I just want to ask you that who are you by profession and want to know if you get paid to write or edit biographies of actors. I just want to know because I am a 20 year old student who is doing his BA from IGNOU and want to know about this profession because if you get a chance to meet with the actor to know his biography and write about him/her. Please reply me back.

Reality check
Kangana ranaut was main heroine of Krrish 3 and was nominated for Best Supporting Actress. Priyanka starred briefly? Kashibai is supporting act. I see your all edits against Chopra. So, you were the one who re-added that catfight. I don't see that on Mukerji, Padukone and other article of yours. You were taking advantage of my silence and it all over now. Much favouritism huh? Sorry but, I wasted my time interacting with you. I don't want to interface in your work. So, pls dont interface with mine.—Prashant 14:45, 23 October 2014 (UTC)
- Kangana, main heroine in Krrish 3? That's like calling John Abraham the main hero of Dhoom! In fact, I feel Kangana was predominantly evil in Krrish 3 until the character's last few minutes. Kailash29792 (talk) 15:16, 23 October 2014 (UTC)
Well that's what is according to Krimuk. She was main lead and Priyanka was a supporting act.You can see what Krimuk had added to Kangna's and Chopra's page. He made Kangna as a lead and Chopra as a brief role.—Prashant 15:22, 23 October 2014 (UTC)o
- LOL, the rant begins again! So apparently I am partial to every other Bollywood actress other than Priyanka Chopra, which is ridiculous! -- KRIMUK90 ✉ 01:29, 24 October 2014 (UTC)
No. no its not like that. I only said what I felt. You said Kangana as main lead and I said ok. Then, you does the same for Chopra and calls her supporting, though I know she is a supporting actress. But, the film is not even released. As per your thoughts like it became clear after K3 release. I mean we can simply say she is starring alongside this and this. I see your these kind of edits only for Chopra. Also, you have reverted all my edits since I don't know.
- I don't revert anybody's edits unless there is some mistake. So, I don't target either you or Ms Chopra. I have always been willing to co-operate with you, but only if you stop comparing Chopra to every other actress. That's unwarranted, and unfair to both Chopra and the other heroines. She is as successful as Kareena, Kangana, Vidya, Rani, Deepika, Katrina etc, so there is no reason for me to portray someone as more or less successful, because they all have done very well in their careers. -- KRIMUK90 ✉ 09:17, 24 October 2014 (UTC)
But, all my edits are not that bad, though I know I don't write that we'll. But, now I understand that I don't have anything to do with the article. Right? I never interrupt your edits as they are brilliant off course. I don't compare her, but your edits. As, Kailash said Calling Kangna the lead is like calling John, the lead actor of Dhoom. But, you should give some space for others too.—Prashant 12:30, 24 October 2014 (UTC)
- Fyi, nowhere in Kangana's article does it say that she played the lead role in Krrish 3. It's quite obvious she was the villain in the film. Kailash's response was to your comment, and not mine. -- KRIMUK90 ✉ 14:13, 24 October 2014 (UTC)
I mean Chopra starred briefly and Ranaut starred in Krrish 3, both are different things. Doesn't matter who played prominent roles. For example Kapoor in 3 Idiots, Singhams Returns. But, no one dared to correct or object that. Even you didn't corrected. So, what will I assume from this. Now, you tell me?—Prashant 14:59, 24 October 2014 (UTC)
- Oh, please stop with the comparisons. There are several, several examples. Sonam played a brief role in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Katrina played a brief role in Dhoom 3. Similarly, Chopra played a brief role in Krrish 3. Again, no reason to compare Chopra with Kareena Kapoor. Kapoor belongs to a different league, and her article is in great shape, and written by a brilliant editor. Also, her role in 3 Idiots was not brief; the length was much more than Priyanka's role in Kaminey. In Singham Returns, yes, and the article very well covers that. So, please stop complaining before checking the facts and frustrating all your fellow editors! No one here is against Priyanka Chopra or you. So grow up and accept that fact! -- KRIMUK90 ✉ 15:05, 24 October 2014 (UTC)
LOL has he still not grown up yet? Haven't heard from him in a long time now. ♦ Dr. Blofeld 12:48, 25 October 2014 (UTC)
Omg! Kareena Kapoor belongs to a different league. Maybe of MERYL STREEP's or a Cate Blanchett No? Or, to a fully partial fancruct articles? You decide. Saying that she belongs to a certain league proves your thing. Also, I should start editing Chopra's article saying PC has starred only briefly in all her films. As, the main lead are chosen between a Kapoor, Balan and Ranaut. —Prashant 19:29, 25 October 2014 (UTC)
- That's correct. Kareena belongs to the league of Streep and Blanchett. She is as good. :)) -- KRIMUK90 ✉ 03:17, 26 October 2014 (UTC)
So basically, you are playing favourites here. But, it doesn't matter what you think. You think Chopra is in league of Katrina Kaif. Right! Keep dreaming as Chopra has gone far ahead of Kapoor and others (your favourites) without the support of male costars and a production help. Why I'm even discussing to you as who are you to decide or who am I to judge anyone. And, this the problem why Bolllywood is very small as compared with Hollywood. Because People like you play favouritism and are judgemental without any reasons.—Prashant 06:31, 26 October 2014 (UTC)
- Awww, if it doesn't matter what I think why post on my talk page? LOL, go cry on Miss Chopra's shoulders. Baaah baaah... why doesn't anyone like Miss Chopraaaa?? She is bestestest! :P :P -- KRIMUK90 ✉ 06:34, 26 October 2014 (UTC)
Hey, buddy!
I'm good. Hbu? OMG, yes! I watched it last week too. Best movie I've seen in a long time. I think I'm in love with Rosamund Pike. She's beyond amazing in the movie! AB01 I'M A POTATO 10:19, 24 October 2014 (UTC)
- Hell yeah! David Fincher makes amazing movies. Have you seen The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo? That's a really good movie too. AB01 I'M A POTATO 00:26, 25 October 2014 (UTC)
- I've only seen his last 3 movies. I'm planning on binge watching his movies soon. Honestly, why can't Bollywood make movies like Gone Girl? All we get is Crappy New Year and Chingham Returns -_- AB01 I'M A POTATO 10:03, 25 October 2014 (UTC)
- Ikr! I'm boycotting Hindi movies now. Do you watch Game of Thrones? AB01 I'M A POTATO 10:17, 25 October 2014 (UTC)

- (talk page stalker) AB01, to answer your question on "why can't Bollywood make movies like Gone Girl", I guess because Indian actors won't be willing to pose explicitly naked like Affleck did in Gone Girl. Kailash29792 (talk) 10:45, 25 October 2014 (UTC)
- @Kailash29792: Not just that. All the actors are money-minded now. They only want to break records by starring in stupid potboilers. How'd you find Gone Girl? AB01 I'M A POTATO 10:53, 25 October 2014 (UTC)
- If the leading Indian actors agree to nudity, atleast they will be taking some risk, and not do the same old crap we have been seeing them do since the 90s. -- KRIMUK90 ✉ 10:55, 25 October 2014 (UTC)
- Agreed, Gone Girl is great!! @AB01: If you like thrillers like that I recommend Fincher's Se7en and L.A. Confidential (film), two of the greatest films of the 90s.♦ Dr. Blofeld 12:51, 25 October 2014 (UTC)
- I'll defs be watching all his movies when I get time. Remember this scene in the movie? THIS is when shit gets real :P AB01 I'M A POTATO 13:15, 25 October 2014 (UTC)
- User:Dr. Blofeld/Great films is a good guide! I've still got a few Fincher films to see myself which I'll be doing soon! Krimuk has still seen more post 2000 Hollywood movies than me I reckon! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 13:37, 25 October 2014 (UTC)
