2x2 Shinobuden userbox images
editIt looks like you're thinking of using the screenshots of Onsukumaru and Sasuke for 2 userboxes you're working on; the thing with those images is that they're fair use as opposed to free used, so they aren't permitted in templates (which include userboxes), or on user pages for that matter, only in the article namespace. See this or here if you have questions. --BrokenSphere 22:28, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
- The only issue with those userboxes is the images, not the userboxes in themselves; you'll have to use text or a free use image (I tend to get mine from Commons) instead of the fair use images, so by all means go ahead and create some 2x2 Shinobuden ones along those lines. --BrokenSphere 15:28, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
Hello, Leemorrison. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:Dark01.jpg) was found at the following location: User:Leemorrison/subpage1. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 23:43, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
Notability of Lil' Jordan
editHello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Lil' Jordan, by Dubkiller (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Lil' Jordan seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Lil' Jordan, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Lil' Jordan itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 06:36, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:File:Muddd.jpg
editThank you for uploading File:File:Muddd.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. ZooFari 06:33, 24 October 2009 (UTC)

Nomination of Aquinas Diocesan Grammar School for deletion
editA discussion has begun about whether the article Aquinas Diocesan Grammar School, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aquinas Diocesan Grammar School until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.
You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Raymie (t • c) 04:47, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Matt Duke, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Red card (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Awarded to those who have asked a great question on the Teahouse Question Forum. There are no stupid questions, but some are excellent! Good questions are those that reflect serious curiosity about editing and help others learn. | |
I think a lot of editors get frustrated with edits that change their writing style, so I'm glad you came to The Teahouse to ask about it. I also made a mistake and learned something about how Google updates itself (or rather, how it doesn't do it properly!) Thanks a bunch!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
