Your request for rollback
editHi Mutinus. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! FASTILY (TALK) 03:19, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
==Thanks==
editThanks for reverting the vandalism on my talk page. --Stickee (talk) 04:10, 28 August 2010 (UTC)

- Love it all you want, just love it somewhere else. Mutinus (talk) 16:15, 4 September 2010 (UTC)

Thank you
editHi Mutinus, and thank you for reverting the vandalism to my user page. Whilst I noticed the vandalism on my talk page pretty much straight away, I hadn't checked my watchlist recently enough to spot what had been done to the user page itself. On the plus side, it's enabled me to add a new userbox; I've never had those pages vandalised before! ;-)
Thank you again. Best wishes, CountdownCrispy ☎ ✎ 19:31, 5 September 2010 (UTC)
Hi Mutinus. If the Plymouth Brethren were founded in the 1920's, and go to the Faroes - from Shetland in the 1860's - it would be impossible for there to be 30 odd of them at the turn of the 19thC i.e. around 1800, ergo the correct date is 20thC.
Disturbed Believe genre
editI'm sorry if you think my edit was vandalism. It was not meant to be. I noticed that the genre of Believe did not mention nu metal as the primary genre so I fixed it. --Jimv1983 (talk) 21:15, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
- And then you undid my revision that clearly told you not to change the genre? I don't believe that. Mutinus (talk) 21:31, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
Nightmare - Avenged Sevenfold
editFirst off, you screwed up the time layouts for the song titles leaving the time adjacent to them rather than in their own columns. Two, the genre Alternative metal has been sourced by Ultimate Guitar and the AllMusicGuide, refer to the album's reviews. Three, A7x is a rock band because they are not primarily metal, they do alternative rock, emo and post-hardcore...also, refer to the AllMusicGuide for this data.
Enough? Please do not revert edits without giving sources. And do not screw up the HTML layouts of the song titles, and times.Kevon100 (talk) 21:21, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
- The rest of it got caught up when I undid number three. I think this makes it pretty clear that you can't decide that it's a rock band: "DO NOT change this genre, it will be considered vandalism and you will receive a warning if you choose to. This generalization follows the rule of WP:LEAD and a consensus has been reached on the A7X discussion page."
Bring up you source on the A7X discussion page if you feel that it should be changed. Mutinus (talk) 21:31, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
- I basically put that as rock band since the day this page was created dude, seriously. I created the critical reception, personnel etc. for this article, you are the one who came and changed the rock to Heavy Metal. "DO NOT change this genre, it will be considered vandalism and you will receive a warning if you choose to. This generalization follows the rule of WP:LEAD and a consensus has been reached on the A7X discussion page." The rock band was a consensus met on the Avenged Sevenfold discussion page until you went to change, I believe you are the one who should discuss, or else I'll bring in the administrators.Kevon100 (talk) 21:35, 6 September 2010 (UTC)
- Ok. I see what's going on. I looked at the edits before yours and it said "heavy metal" . So when you changed it to rock, I assumed it was vandalism and not in accordance with A7X. I wasn't changing it, per se, just changing back what I thought was vandalism. So I apologize for that. However, to avoid this happening again, I suggest you put in your summary that it matches the A7X page. Mutinus (talk) 21:41, 6 September 2010 (UTC)

editYou currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Nightmare. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If the edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Kevon100 (talk) 21:31, 6 September 2010 (UTC)

Hermann Fegelein (parody)
editThe parody itself is not notable enough to have its own page, and so a character within it would not be either.
This is simply untrue. Hitler parodies have been covered in countless national news websites, blogs, and magazines and is also the center of an international debate regarding fair use and copyrights. The parodies can either discuss current events or daily life in the bunker. Fegelein is a central character in the Hitler parodies and he is portrayed as the protagonist. Tens of millions of people watch these parodies on youtube and I can guarantee you that they all know who Fegelein is and what mischief he is up to!
Additionally, the "Background" section is directly copied from Hermann Fegelein and no references are used.
Agreed. I will insert the appropriate references. In the meantime, I will delete the section. -KakashiBallZ (talk) 23:31, 13 September 2010 (UTC)KakashiBallZ
Hermann Fegelein (parody)
editHello and thanks for notifying me of the prod. However, I did not create that article! I had moved it to Hermann Fegelein (Downfall) in order to make a proper article on the film character out of it. But the original author then removed my CSD tag for the redirect and recreated his article. I'm going to vote for deletion at AfD. De728631 (talk) 08:42, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
- I noticed that you weren't the creator, but that was after Twinkle automatically sent the notification to you. So it goes. Thanks for the vote, though! Mutinus (talk) 00:53, 15 September 2010 (UTC)
User page
editShouldn't you create a user page? Wayne Olajuwon chat 21:02, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
- I suppose I should at some point... I just haven't gotten around to it yet. --Mutinus (talk) 21:42, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
Offensive vandalism
editThanks for reverting the vandalism on Kings Heath Boys' Mathematics and Computing College. When you get something as grossly offensive as that, it's a good idea to ask an admin to "Revision delete" it so that it is no longer visible in the history. (I've done that for this one). A quick way to find an admin who is on line is to click "Special pages", then "Logs" (about half way down the left hand column", then select "Deletion Log" or "Block log". Regards, JohnCD (talk) 21:33, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks! I didn't know that an admin could do that! --Mutinus (talk) 21:41, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
BC vs. BCE
editJust so you know, regarding Great Sphinx of Giza, Using BC or BCE is under WP:ERA, which says that both are acceptable. --Mutinus (talk) 21:37, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
- But also states (I don't know if this rule) that if an article says BC is should not be changed to BCE if there's no reason for do it. TbhotchTalk C. 04:26, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
- I think that is how it goes, I just wanted to let you know that it has it's own rule (for your edit summaries). --Mutinus (talk) 22:08, 13 November 2010 (UTC)
Error
editYou reverted one to many. :P 75.81.204.140 (talk) 20:07, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
Uh yeah. Thanks for that. I accidentally reverted to the vandalism, then when I tried to undo that, Huggle crashed to desktop and firefox refused to edit the page. A fine mess. Mutinus (talk) 20:09, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
