Merge

edit

Someone suggested that the page you created List of awards and nominations received by Tom Welling be merged back into the Tom Welling article. I happen to think it is better to keep the awards separate. It was tagged in October and nothing has happened yet (so it is possible it wont happen) but you might want to comment on it. -- 109.79.165.40 (talk) 22:40, 6 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Casey Becker lead updates

edit

Thanks for your updates to the lead on Casey Becker. The source I had been using stated she was the first death, but that's not true, is it? Steve is killed before her. I'm sure what the source meant is the first major death, but I like your wording better. Thanks again! Cheers. --Kbabej (talk) 17:19, 10 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

No problem. I've seen quite a few people remember Casey Becker as the first death, so it's been known to happen. I appreciate you taking the time to thank me. You're welcome. Obi-WanKenobi-2005 (talk) 17:58, 10 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Sniper: Rogue Mission moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Sniper: Rogue Mission, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. BOVINEBOY2008 10:00, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Understandable. When I made the article, I was hoping for more articles and sources to come out about it sooner. I'll add them as I find them. Thank you. Obi-WanKenobi-2005 (talk) 15:37, 9 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of The American Revolution (2014 miniseries)

edit

The article The American Revolution (2014 miniseries) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Appears to fail WP:NTV and WP:GNG. Tagged for notability since 2019

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Silent Hill

edit

Excuse me, but I need your help on fixing up the draft for the Ascension page and brainstorm some ideas around how to get this draft submitted. I got the episode list down and I need help with putting down the choices around the episodes. You have any ideas on how to put them down on the page? 64.56.14.75 (talk) 05:05, 3 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

That's a good question. I have yet to watch the series myself, but one way to go would be to list what canonically happens as voted on by the community. I've seen video game pages of games that have choices just list the general outcome of what happens without getting into specific details, though. As for other choices that aren't canon, perhaps a section on the page can be made to list them as well as any deleted scenes. I hope that this helps. Obi-WanKenobi-2005 (talk) 12:25, 3 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Is there an example around the choices so far? Can you show me either a page or on the draft page to know how these choices work? 64.56.14.75 (talk) 16:20, 3 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Video games like Until Dawn have choices that matter and the plot includes examples of that. Spoilers ahead if you read that article. Obi-WanKenobi-2005 (talk) 19:14, 3 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
I've seen the game on Youtube for a 100% walkthrough. And I see what you mean by choices on this. Though they used a tactic upon the choices known as The Butterfly Effect. Either way, I put down the episodes and the dates on the draft for Silent Hill. I was hoping since you worked on this maybe you can still help on how the story goes. 64.56.14.75 (talk) 19:19, 3 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Unfortunately, I haven't seen it, yet and I don't have a lot time to watch new content, so I don't know the story. Obi-WanKenobi-2005 (talk) 19:29, 3 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
It's set in Norway by what I heard. I'll put down the synposis to give you the downlow around the series. Some of it is on Youtube if you wanna watch it. 64.56.14.75 (talk) 19:37, 3 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
I got the premise down on the game. All I found out is that it does uses some CGI animation around the characters. Original Force helped that out on the animation from the credits. There are two families from the game. Hernandez and Johansen. Plus, the choices that are made is using a program called MILEs. Stands for massively interactive live events. Don't know if this helps for you or not. 64.56.14.75 (talk) 21:16, 3 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

September 2024

edit

Hello, I'm CapnZapp. I noticed that you recently made an edit to Michael Keaton in which your edit summary did not appear to describe the change you made. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Your edit summary "Updated spacing" appears to have nothing to do with your actual edit: updating Keaton's surname. Thank you for your understanding. CapnZapp (talk) 10:49, 6 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

I updated the spacing after sentences that make the page larger without adding more content. There were extra spaces after certain words on the page, so I backspaced them. I didn't change any surnames at all. That was a different editor. You're welcome. Obi-WanKenobi-2005 (talk) 13:58, 6 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

The hitcher problem

edit

I don’t understand what you’re getting out the fact you keep changing the genres on the hitcher, if you’ve actually seen the film it is a thriller (or maybe action thriller, whatever the persons perspective is) sure there are some gory scenes but the main trope is anxiety which news flash, is a trope used frequently in thriller films, before I end this off I’d like to ask you, according to your standards if the hitcher is considered a horror to you, wouldn’t prisoners, seven, misery, etc. all be considered one too? Pomniismywife (talk) 07:53, 15 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry, I just wanted to help the page and was going on multiple sources that I saw about the genres to use. I've seen it called horror and thriller, so I updated it as both. Obi-WanKenobi-2005 (talk) 19:26, 15 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yeah well I’m changing it back to what it was for many years, don’t add things that you think will help the article, it’s perfect the way it is Pomniismywife (talk) 02:36, 16 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

The mayfair witches problem (again)

edit

A few days ago I sent a message to you about a similar problem with the hitcher and how you decided to throw your own opinions into a already perfectly untouched article, this time you’ve now done it on the Mayfair witches claiming that just because one source marks it as a horror, the whole show is basically one as a whole according to you and the one source you’ve linked, I’ve tried to keep my patience but it keeps getting added back and I’ve just been thinking about leaving Wikipedia because of what you’ve been doing, it’s really exhausting and i don’t like it at all, please understand Pomniismywife (talk) 04:28, 23 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

I'm not trying to upset you and I'm not adding genres based on my opinion. I'm adding sourced genres with reliable references. I took advice from multiple users, including an administrator, and was also told genres are based on sources, so that's what I'm doing. Please don't message me about this again, as I'm going on what Wikipedia says and not my own opinion. I made sure to check with an administrator. I'm not trying to upset you. Movie poster source

edit

Why do you keep replacing movie posters without providing a source? Ddg1208gaming (talk) 12:36, 3 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

I usually try to. However, sometimes when I upload an image, someone else replaces the source with a different site for longevity in retrieving the image. So, I'm sometimes not sure if I should change someone else's source, or even my original source, as I have also seen it said that you should cite the original source of the file's page, which makes me unsure if I should edit it. Most of the time, I just forget to update it, or the new image is from the same source. I'll just try to make sure to update it from now, even if I'm uncertain, until I know for sure.
