Speedy deletion nomination of PROMIS®
editYou may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
Thank you.
A tag has been placed on PROMIS®, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You may freely add information to the page that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Promis2012 (talk) 14:04, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
Note for deletion PROMIS
editwhy should it be deleted? it is not an advert for the product itself but a definition for the certified knowledge that represents
- The article, at the time it was tagged, was written in a manner that would have allowed it to be used a regular promotional literature. Please review articles on similar companies to get a better idea on how to comply with WP:NPOV. Also note our WP:COMP policy and please make sure that it meets our notability criteria. Thank you, --PinkBull 15:57, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
Hello Pink Bull. I am just letting you know that I deleted Coppercab, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided, which doesn't fit the page in question. Thank you. Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 13:27, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for letting me know. The reason I did not tag it is an attack page was because there was no actual name of a BLP mentioned in the article.--PinkBull 01:40, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
- No problem. If something is obviously an attack page like this one, you can just A10. It was written as an attack to the subject, even if we can't identify the exact subject. Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 08:24, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
Rouge Bouquet (poem)
editI would otherwise thank you for moving Rouge Bouquet (poem) to Rouge Bouquet if you could tell me where the article about the World War I bombardment (the subject of the poem) went.--ColonelHenry (talk) 02:58, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- I honestly do not know and also know little about the subject matter. My edit was limited to conforming the page with stylistic conventions. If the article about the subject of the poem should be named "Rouge Bouqet" then the poem article should be properly moved back to the name you suggested. --PinkBull 14:49, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- That would be appropriate...and I would be glad to undo the name move if I can find where the article with the WWI content disappeared to.--ColonelHenry (talk) 04:52, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Gary nelson comedian
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Gary nelson comedian requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:35, 2 November 2012 (UTC)
Thirty-four months ago you commented on a poorly sourced article on Jami Floyd at AFD. While I am in full agreement that the deleted version contained only one deadlink as a source and her awards were not explained, expanded, nor themselves sourced... I felt back then that issues were addressable under WP:ANYBIO and WP:ENT. Sorry to say, and still feeling the issues were addressable, it took me until now to actually get to improving it (with help). I'd much appreciate your looking at User:MichaelQSchmidt/sandbox/Jami Floyd to see if your concerns from 3 years ago have finally been addressed to the point where we might have something to serve the project and its readers. Thanks, Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 23:07, 19 January 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry about not responding sooner, I don't consistently log in. Simply put, if the article in your sandbox was up for AFD I would !vote Keep. --PinkBull 04:21, 25 January 2013 (UTC)

editHi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Adhikarimahesh a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. Jackmcbarn (talk) 02:48, 28 July 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you and apologies for the oversight. --PinkBull 02:49, 28 July 2013 (UTC)
"Over redirect", what does that phrase mean?
editIn Guard Brothers your comment "over redirect" doesn't mean much to me, can you explain? I understand your move of the name but I had to do a cleanup as a result of your change which took some time. Jodosma (talk) 18:07, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker)"over redirect" means that before the move, the new name had a redirect to the old name. Jackmcbarn (talk) 18:09, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks, Jackmcbarn. --PinkBull 03:18, 4 August 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Nikhil chandwani
editHello Pink Bull. G1
editHello Pink Bull,
I noticed that you tagged the page Wendytwolives for speedy deletion as patent nonsense. To quote WP:CSD:
G1: Pages consisting entirely of incoherent text or gibberish with no meaningful content or history. This excludes poor writing, partisan screeds, obscene remarks, implausible theories, vandalism and hoaxes, fictional material, coherent non-English material, and poorly translated material. This excludes the sandbox and pages in the user namespace. In short, if you can understand it, G1 does not apply.
That page did not fit the criterion, because the text was coherent and any (competent) person could understand it. However, the subject of the article was obviously made up, making criterion A11 the correct one to use. For more information about what counts as nonsense and what does not, please read User:Balloonman/CSD G1 survey.
Thanks, Passengerpigeon (talk)
- Thank you for the notice. I do recall thinking about the criteria and ultimately deciding that it was incoherent, but I would have to see the deleted article to fully appreciate your comment. --PinkBull 17:04, 11 July 2014 (UTC)

This is Matthias (Matt) Savino, the current Commanding Officer of the Michigan Militia Corps (MMC/MMCW). The names I added are the names of those that have held the title of Commanding Officer for the MMC and the terms that they served as such. I also corrected my name....it is Matt not Mark. I have been a commissioned officer with the MMC since 2006. Our documents are kept within our group and are in physical form only. There are no links to elections of Commanders.
