2023 Arizona Wildcats football team

edit

I'm not going to do anything because their season will be over in about 5 hours, I just want to make sure you under the rule when it comes to creating the page for the following season. With all sports, the long standing rule is waiting until the season is over, this includes creating the page the day the season will end hours before their final game.--Rockchalk717 00:48, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Last year, and this year me and many other people have made wiki articles. Some examples include me making PSU's article, and also someone making Bama's article. But thanks for the info. TakiLakjsdf (talk) 04:29, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Also all the current CFP teams have articles. TakiLakjsdf (talk) 04:34, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Just because it's happening with articles and has happened in the past, doesn't necessarily make it right. Please remember that going forward. I'll be taking care of those other articles.--Rockchalk717 05:45, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
OK, thanks for the info. TakiLakjsdf (talk) 05:50, 29 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

2024 Memphis Tigers football team moved to draftspace

edit

Thanks for your contributions to 2024 Memphis Tigers football team. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Mattdaviesfsic (talk) 00:45, 1 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Is there an amount of sources I should get to, or around?
Thanks, TakiLakjsdf (talk) 01:12, 1 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Also, many CFB season articles don't have many sources in the offseason, because no games have happened. TakiLakjsdf (talk) 01:13, 1 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
There's no particular "amount", but we look for significant coverage independent of the subject. A couple more of different sites (etc) would be good probably. Mattdaviesfsic (talk) 02:16, 1 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Also, as refered to earlier, newer pages for seasons that haven't started don't have many sources, and the only sources would be a schedule, roster, coach bio, etc. TakiLakjsdf (talk) 17:09, 1 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Those would usually be from the school's website. TakiLakjsdf (talk) 21:27, 1 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Reversion of your deletion

edit

I reverted your deletion of the seeding information I entered on 2024 Atlantic Sun men's basketball tournament. The data were clearly marked as the seeding as of today. The information is useful to readers, since the teams have either one or two games remaining in the regular season. It is intended to be temporary. In addition, once the seeding becomes final, much of the information will already be there, making editing easier. Taxman1913 (talk) 02:25, 28 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
