Washington Township, Randolph County, Indiana

Washington Township is one of eleven townships in Randolph County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, its population was 1,906 (down from 2,172 at 2010[4]) and it contained 896 housing units.[2]

Washington Township was established in 1831.[5]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 44.43 square miles (115.1 km2), of which 44.36 square miles (114.9 km2) (or 99.84%) is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 km2) (or 0.16%) is water.[4]
