Currently just one article, which is proposed for deletion; articles in the category are likely to be non-encyclopedic by their very nature. Wikipedia isn't an instruction manual, which is what this category would turn into if fully populated. JulesH 21:14, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the debate was rename to Category:Museum Planning Area. the wub "?!" 13:29, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Category:Museum to Category:Museum, Singapore
- Rename, far too risky for a name and not the actual name of the thing covered. Circeus 20:55, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Rename per nom and to match main article, Museum Planning Area.-choster 22:21, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Retain, the nonmenclature adheres to the norm that has been adopted for the other 50 odd categories concerning planning areas in Singapore, in which Planning Area has been truncated to reduce unwieldiness. See main category at Category:Planning areas in Singapore. —Sengkang 02:17, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- I have an alternative suggestion. If your concern is that the naming of this category will cause confusion with Category:Museums, my proposal is to rename it to Category:Museum, Singapore. Thank you. —Sengkang 02:27, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- My concern is not only over confusion. The name is obviously not specific enough anyway. Category:Museum, Singapore does seem as good an option, though. Circeus 03:35, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- I have an alternative suggestion. If your concern is that the naming of this category will cause confusion with Category:Museums, my proposal is to rename it to Category:Museum, Singapore. Thank you. —Sengkang 02:27, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Rename to
Category:Singapore (museum planning area)Category:Museum Planning Area. The current name is just plain wrong. Also include as a subcat of Category:Planning areas of Singapore. Vegaswikian 03:38, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]- I would not say it is out-right wrong. Perhaps you could take a look at how the planning areas are named by the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore here to get a better overall view. Thanks. —Sengkang 03:48, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Rename, I still like it to be called Museum. But the current name maybe a bit misleading to some, it should be called Category:Museum, Singapore. Terence Ong 03:51, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Rename to Category:Museum Planning Area to match the main article. The current name is way too general. Mairi 03:52, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Rename to Category:Museum Planning Area. When I was creating the article, I debated whether or not to call it Museum, Singapore. The context of this is that no one in Singapore would understand where you meant if you asked them where 'Museum' was. The present category name is too general, and should redirect to Category:Museums. - SpLoT (*T* C+u+g+v) 14:06, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Rename to Category:Museum, Singapore per Sengkang, and to match Central Region, Singapore. The article should also be renamed to match as well. -- ProveIt (talk) 21:29, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Rename to Category:Museum Planning Area. Category:Museum is extremely SG-centric and should instead provide a view of museums (which is already in Category:Museums) while Category:Museum, Singapore refers more to a location (like Kallang Stadium, Singapore). -- Ouishoebean / (talk) (Humour =)) 17:08, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Category:United New Jersey Railroad and Canal Company (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)
The Pennsylvania Railroad leased and operated this company beginning in 1871; new railroad construction was still going strong until around 1920. Thus it doesn't make much sense to categorize by the UNJ, since a lot of lines and structures that would logically be part of it only had relations with the PRR. All the articles are already in other appropriate categories, and do not need to be recategorized. NE2 20:42, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the debate was I speedy deleted it due to emptiness, improper capitalization, semantic redundancy to Category:Articles lacking sources, and because it appears the tag that would have populated it is not a template, but a page in somebody's userspace.
