From the editors

Welcome to the fourth Bugle for 2022!

The article news section includes five excellent new featured pictures, four of which were nominated by Adam Cuerden. Unusually, this means that new FPs for March outnumbered the new featured articles (four) and also the new A-class articles, only two of those having been promoted. There are quite a lot of A-class reviews open now, some for quite a while, and additional reviewers would be greatly appreciated.

The regular book reviews section includes two reviews by Hawkeye7. The first is a recent work on the history of military logistics (one of Hawkeye's areas of focus in editing) and the other an interesting work on the legacy of the atomic bombing of Nagasaki on the city.

Contest department

In the March 2022 article writing contest, five editors submitted entries. Pickersgill-Cunliffe place first, entering five articles which gained 42 points and the WikiChevrons. Gog the Mild took second place and the Writer's Barnstar with 35 points from three articles. Djmaschek, Hog Farm and Zawad also claimed points for articles improved during the month. As always, any editors working on articles at the moment should consider submitting them for the current month of the competition.

Heh. I just presumed all the A-level promotions hadn't been copied over yet. Ah well, glad to help! To be fair, though, the A-class articles that did pass are great. Adam Cuerden (talk)Has about 7.7% of all FPs 21:13, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
