As part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Poland/Assessment, we are peer reviewing some of our articles.
A-class reviews
editOur project currently does not support a dedicated A-class review, so A-class rating is not given by our project, unless it is just to confirm that we agree with an A-class review done by another project (see A-Class criteria). We would like to start doing A-class reviews, but for that we need more activity and interest (if you'd like to see us do those reviews, post at WT:POLAND!).
B-class reviews
editTo assess an article to B-class or above: see Category:Poland articles with an incomplete B-Class checklist for a list of articles to be assessed to B-class and B-Class criteria for what we are looking for. Then post a short commentary on article's talk page on whether it has passed or not, note it was a review for our project, and update the B-class checklist (which is quite easy, and the instructions are present in each assessment template - click show to the right of the "This article has not yet been checked against the criteria for B-Class status" line). It is quite easy, see an example.
To request a B-class review, post it here and make a comment that you've done so at WT:POLAND.
Reviews
editShort, but perhaps enough for B-class. If not, please post on talk what should be expanded/improved. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 22:10, 3 November 2012 (UTC)
- Decline. C-class even seems somewhat generous for the article. The references are there, but the article is plainly too short to be reasonably covering the topic, and I see some quite a lot of unused resources on Google Scholar, just type "prawa kardynalne" there. The lead (which is a little on the short side) includes a somewhat opinionated statement which either should be attributed or backed up with multiple sources. I think there's still a lot to be working on. Szmenderowiecki (talk) 10:52, 16 November 2021 (UTC)

- Decline. This one is better but still doesn't get to B-class. The lead includes statements about the Forge spreading the ideas of the French Revolution but I can't see some more details on that in the body. It would make sense to expand on their political priorities. In any case, it best fits the description of "Useful to a casual reader, but would not provide a complete picture for even a moderately detailed study," which is why C-class seems appropriate for now. - Decline. The article's latest figures are for 2008, 2009 and 2017 in one case, so the data should be updated; more contemporary analyses of Polish poverty are needed, and the older ones should be referred not in present but in past tense. There are also some unreferenced statements about the 500+ programme. Crucially, however, the lead is too short to adequately summarise the article. On a positive note, the History and Trends section, for the most part, is pretty ready for a solid B-class article. Szmenderowiecki (talk) 11:10, 16 November 2021 (UTC)

- Endorse. I recommend seeking GA status; see also the Polish FA-class article to see if anything is missing or could be added. Szmenderowiecki (talk) 11:20, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
