In October 2010, italic formatting was applied to article titles via {{Infobox video game}}. Italics were incorporated into {{Infobox video game series}} the following month.
On November 19, 2010, PresN was promoted to administrator following a successful adminship request.
In December 2010, the Wikipedia:Article alerts system was brought back online with the help of WP:VG member H3llkn0wz; the WP:VG-related article alerts can be found at Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Article alerts.
In December 2010, Xeno and David Fuchs were elected for 2-year terms on the English Wikipedia's Arbitration Committee.
In December 2010, the Indie games task force was created.
Per this ongoing discussion here, any interested editor is invited to join WikiProject Horror to help work on articles there, some of which overlap with WP:VG.

The Main Page is the most prominent page on the English Wikipedia.
