List all of the bus routes in the Bronx
editThe table should be expanded to include all the bus routes in the Bronx. The exclusion of the Q44, QBx, and the local Westchester routes does not make sense from the user (neither the user of Wikipedia, nor the user of the buses!) Jd2718 23:28, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- This is a list of all the routes. Since the routes with other prefixes have details on other pages, the reader is instead linked to the pages that cover them in detail. Otherwise we have the same details on two pages and there is a high risk of desyncing as routes change or people add historical information. --NE2 23:33, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- When changes occur, editors know to transfer the new information to multiple pages. It is an uneven process, for sure, but it happens on WP every day for hundreds of articles. This is not a reason to leave an article incomplete. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jd2718 (talk • contribs) 23:40, 19 January 2007 (UTC).
- You keep stating that this article is incomplete, but it is not (with the exception of not listing the "W" buses). It lists all buses that operate in the Bronx. --NE2 23:44, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- But the table is missing "bus routes in the Bronx." That makes it incomplete. Jd2718 23:47, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- The article is more than the table. The article is a list of all routes in the Bronx (hence the name) plus a table of routes that begin with "Bx". --NE2 23:52, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- I think the lists should include every route that sets foot into the borough's borders. So in this case, every route in (and those running to/from other brorughs/counties) The Bronx should be listed. Pacific Coast Highway {talk • contribs} 23:59, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- The list does include "every route that sets foot into the borough's borders". It refers the reader to other articles for details on some of the others. --NE2 00:09, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Any bus in the Bronx should be included. Larry V (talk | e-mail) 03:18, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
- Every bus in the Bronx is included. --NE2 03:20, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

- Bx19 207th Street Crosstown Line (1948)

- Bx39 Sedgwick Avenue Line (1948)
- Bx40 Tremont Avenue Line (1948)
- Bx41 Webster and White Plains Avenues Line (1948)

Westchester Bee-Line
editI have reinstated the W's in the route numbers. Within the City of New York, they are referred to with the "W" prefix, both by the MTA and The City of New York. Pacific Coast Highway {Kiss me! • I'm irish!} 21:27, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- Remove the prefixed W, as to why... NYCTA now classifies as Bee Line route - #, NYCDOT classifies with a W prefix... So there are multiple conflicting information, we should used the Bee Line route information instead of NYCT and NYCDOT conflicting info. BWCNY 20:03, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

Revising bus tables
editI'm proposing a standard format for route tables across all pages. You can read it here. Comments are appreciated. Pacific Coast Highway {talk • contribs} 01:21, 11 September 2009 (UTC)
Introductory Picture
editAs with most articles in the WP:NYCPT project dealing with buses, unless there is more than one livery per article for routes of one carrier (i.e., Select Bus Service, Bee Line's Shuttle routes, and GO Bus, there should only be one pic to introduce the article, with the route number clearly visible. I will be changing all of the articles to match this. This article as is already conforms.--AEMoreira042281 (talk) 05:39, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
