Ner-a-CarNer-A-Car – Request made 5 July 2012 by user:SamBlob using template:movenotice. Reason given by SamBlob is "'Ner-A-Car' is the brand name is the brand name of the motocycle as manufactured under licence in England and is also the name of the corporation manufacturing the same motorcycle in the United States under the brand name Neracar" -- PBS (talk) 08:34, 8 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

I propose that this article Ner-a-Car be moved to Ner-A-Car over the current redirect. "Ner-A-Car" is the brand name of the motocycle as manufactured under licence in England and is also the name of the corporation manufacturing the same motorcycle in the United States under the brand name Neracar. It is therefore a more correct name for the motorcycle than the current "Ner-a-Car". Sincerely, SamBlob (talk) 16:57, 5 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Some 30 years ago I read
  • Foale, Tony; Willoughby, Vic (1984). Motorcycle Chassis Design: The Theory and Practice. Osprey. ISBN 0-85045-560-X.
which had a section on the Ner-a-Car, it includes a photo of one of the authors riding one, hands-off. --Redrose64 (talk) 14:17, 28 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Any problem with adding this ad?

edit

Neracar advertisement published in July 1922 in Popular Mechanics. Includes a labelled diagram of a Neracar chassis, although the labels are hard to read at this resolution.

I have uploaded the enclosed Neracar advertisement from the July 1922 issue (i.e. published in the United States before 1923) of Popular Mechanics. Would there be a problem with including this ad as a thumbnail in the article? Sincerely, SamBlob (talk) 01:46, 3 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Three-wheeled Neracar

edit

1921 Neracar three-wheeler at the Forney Transportation Museum

I understand that the Forney Transportation Museum has a three-wheeled Neracar from 1921, which they claim is the only one (remaining or made?). Can anyone find a reliable source that says anything about this? Sincerely, SamBlob (talk) 21:25, 28 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
